Was suggested this doctor by my fiance and his family, but stopped going years ago because of the horrible service from Dr.Hanna. Booked an appointment for 12, don't get in till 1:30 or later. I asked for a physically and she listened to my chest, tapped her fists on my back and called it a day. I asked why there was no internal or no need for clothes to actually be taken off at all, and she said "I don't do that here." Excuse me... are you not a family doctor? Why waste my day and book the appointment if you don't actually do full physicals? Seemed to not care and act in a way that, because of my age, I was unimportant, but took forever with her more senior clientele. Have never in my life felt so ignored and unheard by a health "professional," not that I can say her attitude was very professional, I got better care at the Heart Lake walk-in clinic. Would not recommend.
I’ve been a patient at this clinic for a couple years and have always tried to remain respectful, even though Dr. Hanna has consistently had an attitude or having an unpleasant facial expression. Also made me feel dismissed. At my most recent appointment, she rolled her eyes at me and gave me clear attitude when I was simply confirming one of the tests she was performing on me. I calmly addressed it in the moment, but instead of listening or acknowledging my concerns, she reacted unprofessionally stormed out of the room, raised her voice, and ultimately dismissed me as a patient. I only put up with this kind of treatment for so long because it’s so difficult to find a family doctor, but that doesn’t make it right. My mother, who is also her patient, has also experienced feeling uncomfortable during visits. This kind of behavior is not okay in any healthcare setting. Because of this, I will no longer be a patient of Dr. Hanna .I would not recommend her to anyone. Patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and cared for especially when seeking medical help. Honestly, I’m happy this happened because now I’m motivated to search hard for a doctor who truly treats their patients with dignity and respect. And to Dr. Hanna words of advice learn some compassion, and take a hard look in the mirror. Judging from all the other negative reviews, it’s clear this profession may not be the right fit for you. Take accountability for how you treat others. This is people’s health you’re dealing with not a place for personal ego or attitude.
Wrost clinic. In door they have mentioned as they are accepting new patients while we went inside they refused us . I am going to complain in health ontario for this walkin clinic
Doctor is good, I really wish the supporting staff could really understand the doctor and work towards helping the Doctor rather than make it difficult. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who is new and looking for a clinic. Administration is so complicated.
Terrible experience for the first time of visit. the staff especially the ones on the front desk lack professional behavioral approach. A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE
Dont waste your time coming to this family clinic. There is always a 45-50 minute wait and doctor dismisses you in like 5-10 minutes. Look for better options. Other reviews on google will also help you decide. I had an ear infection and I went to the family doctor here for referring me to the ENT, it has been 6 months now nothing from ENT or a follow up call from the family doctor. Honestly I just avoid getting sick.
Dr. Hanna told me, two months after my best friend killed herself, "at least it wasn't your father, mother or child" and then tried to perscribe me anger management meds when I became upset at her comment. I stormed out and have never been back since. Got a call from her a little while later saying "I'm sorry if I upset you", I deleted the message pretty quickly. The reseptionist Haidy is wonderful though and I wish her all the best. Edit: response to the owner. Yes i have met doctors that have apologized for upsetting a paitent. They own up to the mistake. Dr. Hannah DID NOT, she said "I'm sorry IF I upset you" not "I'm sorry THAT I upset you." There is a HUGE difference in meaning, which obviously you do not understand.
