I tried numerous times to sell my daughter's old clothes which she NEVER wore at all and if she did it was once but they are telling me they are no good. But yet when I walk around the store I see holes or rips in the clothes. Horrible .

Very surprised with all the good stuff they had. Very organized. Way more organized then going to a store in the mall. Staff were nice and friendly too. Very helpful.

It's a nice place to buy some gently used items for kids. Items are good with ample variety and are affordable too. The best part is you can sell your gently used kids clothes and toys too, as long as they are absolutely clean and / or in working condition and the shop needs them. The process of selling is very organized, and they keep the stuff and send you a message when they have gone through your items that you have deposited and are ready to buy. They give you details of what they have taken for how much and why they have refused some items. Earlier, if you bought something from the shop on the day you sold some items, you were given a 10% discount on what you bought but that little benefit has gone for months now and I hope they will bring it back. You can't make much money from selling but it goes a little way to your child's piggy bank. The staff are helpful too.

I visited the Brampton location of Once Upon a Child yesterday and had a very frustrating experience. The staff at the buying counter, particularly one woman — dark hair tied back, heavier build — was incredibly rude and dismissive. She looked at me and spoke with the kind of attitude like she owned the store or was somehow above me. No professionalism, no courtesy — just plain disrespect. I was forced to lift and place heavy items on the counter myself while she stood by watching, offering no help at all. Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this type of behavior at this location. It seems to be a recurring issue. I brought in beautiful, clean, barely worn children’s clothing — name brands and great condition — and they only selected four items. It honestly felt like they didn’t even go through the rest of the items properly. The wait time was also unnecessarily long, and when they returned my bags, it was clear most hadn’t even been touched. If you’re not going to actually review the items, what’s the point of accepting a drop-off? This store relies on sellers bringing in quality items, but the staff’s attitude and lack of customer service make it a place I won’t be returning to. Very disappointing.

I went there with unassesmbled crib, they qouted me a 100CAD and asked me to assemble it. I did it after taking an hour of work Then they said We did not see that scrach ok we will give 75 CAD now. We accepted as we had spent so much time and if we have to take it back i have completely unassemble it. Then a new employee comes and had the audacity to say now we will give 50 CAD. I mean thats how you want to do business. I left it there as is without any money. If anyone needs gently used very nice condition please go there an take it free and show them this review.

Terrible. Very upset. I called to inquire about how it works. They completely made a fool of me. I had my daughter with me they asked me to put together the items, swing, bassinet and exerciser. They had minor small barely noticeable stains and I had to dismember the items and lug back into my car with my daughter. No help. They could have told me over the phone absolutely no marks stains etc but instead wasted my time and made a fool of me. Incredibly terrible. Never again. Worst experience….. isn’t this a used clothing and item store? Wow just wow

Visited here for the first time to purchase books for our Peel Book Drive for kids & was amazed by the variety of books & great prices. The store was closing soon but the staff made sure to assist with scanning the $200 of books purchased (and gave discount!). Very satisfied with the service & would definitely recommend.

Samantha We are sorry we weren’t able to purchase your items. When you called we should have done better at explaining the condition of items that we are able to purchase. We appreciate your feedback and will use this as an opportunity to improve our communication.
