Centrally located close to Hwy 410. Good pricing. Stinky lobby. Clean rooms and washrooms. Very accommodating receptionists. Friendly staff.
The hallways smell of urine and marijuana. The beds are hard and uncomfortable, no screens on the windows which lets in bugs. Extra blankets in the room would have been nice as no matter that I turned off the AC, it was quite cold in the room. There was garbage sitting for several hours in the elevator lobby on the second floor. There were 5 police cars and a forensic investigation unit on site for several hours...none of the guests were notified or told why. After the police left, there was a bloody blanket left in the elevator lobby on the second floor. Not impressed at all, and not at all worth over a hundred dollars for a night stay. The bathtub was dirty and had a broken plug so no baths can be taken. The white towel was even dirty with make-up and lipstick on it. (not mine, I do not wear make-up.)
The overall experience was very good, we only spent one night. The only thing that bothered me was the smell of cigarettes in the hallways. It is strange when you get to your room, all you smell is cigarettes and the room has a no-smoking sign on the door. However, the room was very clean and the stay was pleasant.
As far as the staff, the cleaning staff and front desk staff, they have always been friendly and nice to me, and made me feel welcome. As far as the experience of staying here and being around the guests, it is a nightmare. You have people coming from the nearby shelter asking you for things and bothering you, it feels more like a ghetto than a place of business or a motel, you run into people staggering around doing every kind of drug imaginable, prostitutes and people blasting gangsta rap all night, marijuana smoke and cigarette smoke coming from rooms and from a place that is supposed to be non-smoking, people that look like they have either come from prison or arent far off from heading there, people screaming and fighting either in their rooms, or in the hall so much that the police are often called in for, drug dealers, pimps and who know who else staying here. If you are anyone decent or civilized, then you will not have a good experience staying here. If you just want to keep to yourself, you would not enjoy it here, and if you do stay here, never get involved in anyones personal life.
This was the worst experience ever. Elevator smelled like booze. Very Loud music footsteps and excessive noise after 2 am. and the room was filthy heat / ac didn't work. I have stayed in Motel 6s in the United States and have received a peaceful and clean experience. I also understand that and did not expect 4+ Star service but this property is just a 1 star I would strongly have a corporate franchise manager inspect this property and the management.
