I had no issues. I spent two nights here, and it was wonderful. The staff were very informed and helpful, and I even seen them get yelled at by a drunk woman and they dealt with her with poise. The room is what you buy. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. I enjoyed the amenities, there are many things to do around the hotel (movie theatre, restaurants). Its a very lovely hotel. Id recommend it easily.
I am staying here for a shutdown at the Chrysler plant, so the hotel is very busy. The staff has accommodated us well. My biggest disappointment is the breakfast. I work until 1am, wake up at 9:30 and get down to the counter by 9:40, everything is all packed up, and hot food is not available. Don't advertise breakfast till 10:00 if you shut down the kitchen at 9:30. I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn better for this reason.
Cleaner didn't replace my okay no big deal at first. I call front desk they tell me to come get it and this place has the slowest elevator you have ever seen. I said could you send someone they said you will have to wait until 7:00-730 when the maids come in, I said sure let's do that. I leave at 830 no coffee... maids took my shoe shine cloth and I call down to the front dest they say we will check with the maids. I come back that night no cloth... I call again well sir who did you speak to about? They a restaurant in house and they conveniently close when ever they want. Why have hours of operations...
Had to downgrade my rating because we were denied late check-out as the bride and groom. We also had 10+ rooms booked from our guests so it was extremely disappointing for the lack of common sense and customer service. The only real bright spot was the night duty manager on the Friday night and Cathy. They both made sure my check-in was super smooth with all our guests. The overnight staff on the Saturday night and Sunday morning were completely indifferent about our wedding group. Told us they had "high occupancy" so late check-out of even half an hour was not possible. Are you kidding me?! Other than that, the rooms were decently sized and had adjoining room options which made it convenient for the bridal party to prepare. Bathroom could have used a little more complimentary items like toothpaste and toothbrushes though.
The hotel and rooms were very nice, also they let us check in early. Although most of the outlets in the room we stayed in didn't work. The pool and hot tub were very nice, however we did have to request towels twice and wait about 25 minutes before they brought some. The staff did go above and beyond, we called and asked if they had utensils and they brought us some very quickly. There are some things they could improve on like their staff knowing where a plunger is located so you don't have to wait 40 minutes for them to find one. The good did outweigh the bad and we did enjoy our stay and we will most likely return.
