Our 2.5 ton Amercican standards was installed with an undersized indoor evaporative coil capacity 2 ton which lead to so much strain and wear & tear that it damaged the compressor prematurely . We had to replace the whole entire system both inside and out so our family gets to enjoy cold air . 2nd system was installed properly with 10 years warranty after our equipment were registered online . As a result we strongly do not recommend Four season discomfort .
My family first contacted Craig at Four Season Comfort Heating & Cooling because we thought we needed to replace our AC unit. Our 4-year-old Lennox AC had developed a leak, and after two highly reputable companies inspected it, both told us they couldn’t find the source. When we explained the situation to Craig, he immediately reassured us that such a new unit shouldn’t need replacing. He even went the extra mile by offering to speak directly with the companies on our behalf to understand how they had checked for the leak. Craig then sent his crew to our home, and within 30 minutes they found the leak that others had missed. They also uncovered several other installation issues with both our AC and furnace that we had no idea existed. Shortly after, his team came back to make all the necessary repairs and expedited the work before the coming heatwave. Since then, our AC has been working flawlessly. Throughout what had been a very frustrating experience, Craig was a true professional. He was always available to answer questions, explain his process, and keep us fully informed. After being let down by other HVAC companies, we’ve decided we’ll only trust Craig moving forward. I can’t recommend him highly enough—his honesty, knowledge, and dedication are unmatched.
Craig is just beyond being a professional! He is an amazing human being! I needed a thermostat that my installer in Ottawa couldn't get for 6 months. We purchased a new American standard furnace from this mere *** salesman / middle man *** who uses sub contractors that are very Inferior over 6 years a go *** big mistake *** and were told we would have 10 years parts warranty but we recently found out our furnace was never registered on time which meant only basic 5 years instead and when we brought that to their attention we were given a hard time and no real explanation was given no surprise for someone with zero technical knowledge and no hands on nor trade qualifications or TSSA registration as a heating fuel contractor .We would highly suggest getting a second opinion to see If they did your furnace installation as per Gas Code B-149 . Make sure you check your model and serial numbers with Manufacture less than 30 days after installation date if you re in doubt about extended warranty.There used to be at least two other individuals who's hvac were also not registered that mention it on this business's homestars profile that arent there nomore after they paid to have them taken down . This salesman can not Stand honest competition and constantly accuse them of disliking him which is very far from the truth and a common tactic to keep you in the dark . Don't believe the reviews on their web site they use ***PAID ACTORS *** to promot them on social media forums ....And one of those actors Successfully managed to instigate to ban a honest Competitor who tried to expose their shady workmanship on RFD. There's a warning on line from someone about this business too no surprise since they're well known for undersizing airconditioner indoor evaporator coils to cut costs. RED FLAGS FLYING HIGH UP . Run away. Fast! Highly not recommended buyers be aware
My old furnace and air conditioner needed replacement. After research, I decided to try Craig's company. Having technical background, I tried to figure out the best solution and after reading basics about furnace and AC types, capacities etc. asked Greg millions of questions. He answered with great level of detail and patience suggesting several options. Mike (technician) came to make measurements and also was very professional, polite and patient answering all questions. When installation time was arranged, the crew (Mike and Al) came on time. They put rags on the floor to prevent scratching, removed old and installed a new furnace. They also connected Google thermostat I bought. Craig followed up several days asking how everything is performing. Couple days later the crew was back for air conditioner installation because they had to wait until the snow melts. They removed old AC, levelled the base with gravel, put an anti-vibration pad and installed the new one on top. Both furnace and AC soldering, electrical connections and metal work on plenum looks very clean. Also Craig called after saying that in the summer he would send a technician to check the pressure in AC piping. Overall, I'm very happy with the experience. Working with Craig's team gives confidence the job is well done.
Just had an AC installed yesterday. They came on time. Installers were polite, friendly, and did a good job. Craig followed-up with a phone call after the install was completed which was greatly appreciated.
