Compliments to both Jesse and Adam who have been to our condo to service the HVAC units; they are friendly and courteous. Jesse is particularly knowledgeable about the heat pumps, various models of thermostat, and the operation of the heating and cooling systems in the building more generally. Thank you for correctly diagnosing the problem with our thermostats and for answering the many questions I had about the design and operation of HVAC system in this building.
Do not use this company. Stay Away. Money Grab. I was having a heat pump issue. 1) Technician went to my condo, for a TOTAL of 10 minutes. Said it's the CONDOs issue and not your unit.. $300 dollar Charge. 2) Went to Condo CORP, they again confirmed, its not a CONDO issue, as nobody else is having the problem. 3) Went back to AIRCOM, another technician went, and again, said no no no, it's the CONDO Issue. $424 Charge.... 4) Went with another company, and they fixed the issue, which aircom SHOULD have done since Day 1. Would not recommend at all, charges way too much. Look Elsewhere.
This company has a contractual agreement with our condominium's builder. Regrettably, their technicians seem to lack the requisite expertise to effectively diagnose and resolve the issue at hand. Despite multiple visits (exceeding five in number), they have resorted to replacing various components, including circuit boards, parts, and even the unit's chassis (Omega), without successfully identifying the root cause of the problem. Fortunately, we engaged the services of an alternative company that promptly identified and rectified the issue that had eluded AirCom's detection. It is worth noting that AirCom charges a premium for their service calls, amounting to $400 plus HST for a single visit, excluding the cost of replacement parts. In contrast, the alternative company provided a technician who successfully diagnosed the problem for a significantly lower fee of $165 plus HST.
One of your contractors visited my condo today as per request of Skale developments, and he showed up, only just to listen to the HVAC and mansplain to me that it's normal to have sounds come out of the HVAC. His name is Quentin. He was really rude and honestly he should not be customer facing if all he does is just tell people that machines make sounds.
