I never leave reviews but I felt so uncomfortable. Today I went here because the person helping me at Sephora suggested Trade secrets to look for a round brush which Sephora didn't have a lot of options. I went in I was the only customer and thought to myself this place looks nice I'll look around after I pick up what I need. Asked the person working if they sell round brush and she pointed and said there over there. She offered no help and it felt like she was just watching me. But I could be wrong as I wasn't facing her but, the vibe that I got from her when I asked for help just felt like I was bothering her/she didn't want me in the store. I selected a brush and because it felt like she didn't want me in the store I didn't look around. Paid for my brush and was waiting for her to give me my receipt she was said its final sale and gave me my bag with no receipt. Won't be coming back, I don't like to think someone doesn't like me based on my skin but I honestly feel this person could have been stand offish to me because of the colour of skin and as a person of colour you can just feel when someone doesn't like you because they are racist.
I went to the store it was still about 20 minutes left in closing the mall and they shut the door saying they are closed and the person who was working there I tried telling them how it’s still 20 mins left and I am just here to buy the shampoo but she wasn’t even answering to me and pretending that she can’t hear me worst experience with them on this location
I've visited Trade Secret a few times now, and Asma always does an amazing job on my eyebrows. Her attention to detail and expertise really stand out. I'm thoroughly impressed with the results and would highly recommend her for any beauty and salon work.
I wasn’t even willing to give one star. Pathetic customer service where in we were first clients of the day. She asked us to wait in a very rude tone. I don’t exactly know whether she was the owner or whoever she was with long hair and MK boots. Eyebrows she did for me was horrible, totally unprofessional. It did hurt me and when I told her the same she was like it will hurt! Like seriously, you can go slow man. I’m sorry to say, this isn’t the way you run a business. Learn how to deal with customers please. Thank you ?
Hope there was an option to give 0 star. Such a huge store and they don’t have any return policies. Never coming back here again. What a useless store manager. Pathetic and cold hearted.
Honestly so unhappy with my last eat visit. I really didn’t want to leave a review because there are people who work at this location that actually care a about their guests. I just left and I’m really upset with my waxing experience (Eyebrows and upper lip). The girl who did my waxing was rude and talked to her friend or co worker the whole time. she made two completely uneven eyebrows ... AND MY EYEBROWS ARE TATTOOED. All she has to do was outline my eyebrows but I guess when you don’t pay attention to your customers it’s hard right?
I just got a hair cut from this place and the only reason they don't get a 1 star is because they were accommodating of a short notice appointment. Other than that this place needs to hire stylists who know that they are doing. You can tell if they are good by the techniques they use and I may just be used to my usual salon stylists at Donato but this woman appeared to not know what she was doing. When thinning my hair she just used thinning scissors and went under my layers and cut a huge chunk near the roots then brushed out the hair. I asked for side sweeping bangs and all she did was a straight cut and pushed them to the side. She said she would frame my face but that clearly didn't happen. I came here out of convenience because it's close to my home and I don't have time in the next couple weeks to visit my regular salon. It also had good reviews so I thought I'd try it out but I am NEVER coming here again and I suggest other people don't as well.
