Purchased the butter-filled white loaf bread due of its natural and simple ingredients from my local food basics, I am very impressed ! this is my go to bread from now on!! We have complained in the store several times that the quality of their product has dropped significantly. Sausage filling is tough, dry with a weird taste. Dough is hard and a little burnt. We love Grey Matlock. Please pay attention to your quality.
A small, local bakery based at the back of a building off Kennedy. As soon as you round the corner of the building, you know you're in for good bread. The smell of freshly baked bread fills the air. They make some of the best white loaf bread around, and at extremely fair pricing. While you can get their bread at nofrills, coming here pretty much guarantees freshness. In terms of atmosphere, the bakery is quaint- very little decor, and feels very traditional, local authentic shop. TLDR; Small bakery in unassuming location, that produces amazing quality loaf bread at reasonable prices.
Soft and delicious! I can’t get enough of this bread. I bought two loaves days back and now I’m almost out. Currently thinking of how to get more as I reside DT. I wish it was available in chain grocery stores.
