Bought macarons and mini donuts, the macarons were exceptional. Tasted amazing with a perfect texture after bringing up to room temperature. The donuts however left much to be desired, with their only redeeming feature being the presentation.
Have been going to MacaronZ for years with my family and they never disappoint!! From the macarons to mini donuts (personal favourite) — everything is so yum. The workers are always super helpful, kind and patient when I can’t decide what I want. Can’t wait for my next visit to treat myself :)
I recently held a Celebration of Life for my Mom at this quaint High Tea Cafe in Brampton. Macaronz at 43 Queen St East. The planning for this event went very smoothly. Attention to detail by the coordinator Kayla along with the rest of the staff could not be approved upon! The venue was enjoyed by everyone. The interior decor,music food was perfect! If you're looking to book an intimate Bridal, Baby Shower or simply enjoying a high tea with you're friends and family I would give Macaronz a huge thumbs up along with a 5 star rating. I called before coming into the cafe and asked how busy it is in terms of sitting and the employee responded “not so busy.” After visiting it, the employee claims the seating area closes at 4:30pm pm yet it was only 3:58pm. I mentioned the time and questioned it as it wasn’t even 4:30pm yet. I still decided to give it a chance and wanted to take something home as i drove quite far. The employee continues to stare at my face as I’m trying to navigate the menu and as I ask for recommendations, she responds in a rude manner. This cafe disappointed me. Please don’t visit it if you prioritize excellence in customer service. And to that employee, please be more mindful.
Recently visited this place for their afternoon tea. Cute little shop but parking is a bit difficult since it is located in downtown Brampton with a lot of construction going on. Place is a bit small and can get crowded if spots are fully booked. Not enough space inbetween tables. Can literally hear what other people are talking about. Opted for their "Classic Afternoon Tea" and while the Macarons were decent, some of the crostinis and quiche were stale. Didn't end up finishing them and took them home - and didnt even bother touching them after. Good place to try, but won't be coming back. Service was good however.
Macarons are hollow inside. Disappointing. Donuts are okay. Make sure you eat at room temperature, so that the icing 'melts' into the "cake" part of the donut. The "cake" of the donut is plain on its own
The donuts are beautiful! The packaging is great and they got delivered very quickly. The donuts base taste like the regular powdered donut base (still really good and I ate like 6). The toppings is what brings the individual flavor. They are decorated so great and I love the colorful coating. I did however pay 30$ for a box of 12 mini donuts which is a little expensive.
