We came by to buy lechon and pandesal, and I honestly didn’t expect to feel so emotional. I miss home so much—and eating this brought me right back. The lechon was perfectly seasoned, the pandesal warm and soft, just like how it is back in the Philippines. But more than the food, what really touched me was how Nanay welcomed us. She was so accommodating and kind, it felt like visiting a relative. Her warmth made the experience even more special. For a moment, it felt like I was home again. ❤️
Disappointed with the Pan de Coco buns. It’s not what it was before. You all mixing the Coconut filling with something else. Start putting back coconut filling.
I had a very poor 1st experience with this place. I found them on the Too Good To Go app. I didn't know they even existed till I seen them on the app. So we went in and the lady was polite and helpful in the beginning, but once we mentioned we were there to pick up the grab bag from the app. Her mood and attitude instantly changed. She complained about the app and how she was losing money by using it and was very rude towards us. I dont think she realized we understood tagalog as she was uttering things she wouldnt probably say in english. Honestly we didn't even know that the store existed till the app so she should have at least kept being polite as we would have purchased more items as well. Like if your so unhappy with the app and customers it provides, than why are you even on it? But the attitude change was enough for us to never want to come in again. Let alone the food we did get was very mediocre and wasn't pleasant to eat at all. Sometimes just being polite to anyone in any circumstance goes a long way. The lady who I assume was the owner needs to change her attitude. Avoid this place at all costs. Very poor people skills.
We disappointed about the lechon we ordered. We pay $275 on 40 60lbs but we received not even 30lbs, not even enough for 5 person. Inside the belly is full of lemon grass .I call them to complain but she hang up the phone while we're talking. Not recommended at all.
I purchased Haba Haba from a grocery store that was made by Bella's Bakery and something smelled very off / rotten with it, even though it was well before the best before date. Most of it tasted fine, I could not pinpoint the source of the smell but if I had to guess it may have been some type of unclean tool used on the top of the bread or the margarine - it was unappetizing!
Came for bitsu-bitsu ..and left with lots more. The store feels nice and homey with one dining table, and single stools for you to eat in. The staff greeted me right away and I felt so welcome- she knew what I wanted with just one look!! You cannot leave without some staple baked goods like pandesal which was fresh out of the oven. Bitsu-bitsu was met in your mouth delicious - I watched them get fried with love and care. I ate 3 in the car... irresistible!! Prices are great- Keep it up Bella!!
Coming all the way from Markham, I went to visit a friend in Brampton and googled Filipino Bakeries in Brampton which brought me here. Man was I happy that I did :) Walked in there with the intention of buying only pandesal but walked away with fresh hot pandesal, pan de coco, ube ensaymada, pusit adobo, crispy pata and some veggie dish with eggplant and bitter melon that my mom loves (can't remember what its called). Everything was delicious and fresh!!! The lady was so nice and welcoming. I WILL DEFINITLEY BE BACK!
