BEWARE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Interesting to note that there were NO reviews prior to mine but within 24 -48 hours after my posting there were various people sharing their "supposedly' wonderful experience with Mattress Gateway. Some of the "glowing" comments directly addressed my concerns. A couple individuals share the same last name. The timing is highly suspect, this business has no credibility or integrity and most people will see through their "facade. Horrible mattresses , poor quality, cheaply made item which may actually cause pain and be completely unusable. Remember anyone can create a website, that does not mean the company is trustworthy, reliable or scrupulous. Stick to well known companies/stores with transparent business practices. Due to current circumstances I made a poor choice to buy a mattress through Facebook marketplace. I was hesitant to buy a mattress without seeing/ trying it but when I spoke to Avi, who I presume it the owner, he told me he would make an exception and provide me with a refund if I was not satisfied with my purchase. This is not common practice, as the company only does exchanges; however Avi said he would charge $79.00 to come and pick up the mattress if I was not happy with it . When I spoke to him about getting a refund he vehemently denied ever agreeing to such terms. In fact he stated what businessman would provide a full refund? I " aired" out their their supposedly popular "Velevet Rose" mattress for 5 days to get rid of the " chemical odour" before trying it out . I could not "sleep" on it for even 2 hours as it felt like I was laying on my hardwood floor. This mattress will actually cause back and joint pain. I do not have any faith in this company's products and have no interest in exchanging mattresses , I have basically lost $475.00 and am stuck with a "garbage" worthy item . Sent from my Galaxy
