Went here to get a knife sharpener which i found in Isle 69 without much trouble but it was locked in a glass case. I'm not sure why it had to be locked up but after more than 10 minutes finding an associate she told me because it says right there that the cabinet has to be locked. Well imagine that... Anyway she unlocks the cabinet and tells me she'll take it to the front... Take it to the front?!?!? It's a 39 dollar knife sharpener on sale for 25 and it needs to be escorted out of the store... I'm thinking they got tipped off after i researched it online and promptly locked them up before i got there... i am a sketchy looking fellow you know.. i would locking my for if i saw me coming. Main isles are jammed with merchandise making escape from fire probably impossible and you'll probably perish somewhere between hardware and the automotive section.Staff are friendly when you can find them and for the most part helpful.
While I was driving I picked up a bolt on my tire. Went to Canadian Tire around 4:30 and they said they couldnt patch the tire as they have only 2 service technicians. They claimed they are busy and wont have time. I showed a picture of my tire with the bolt and they refused to do it. I ended up calling tire handlers. Richard came on site and patched my tire took him under 5 minutes. Never bring your car to Canadian Tire they clearly do not specialize in tire repair find an alternative.
To does, who wants purchase new tires? Don't buy Michelin tires. It's not the same tires what was in the past. It's a joke!!! The quality is a joke and the way they handle the costumers is a joke!!! I got my Michelin Premier LTX for mi Toyota Sienna 2015 and the tire wear out after 4 months of driving and maybe 10k km. The rubber is so soft that tread looks like it's rolling down, theres chunks of rubber hanging. You can see them on the pictures. The 100 000 km warranty it's a scam. Michelin told me to go to authorize Michelin dealer I went to Canadian tire for inspection. After one hour of inspection the try to found that something was wrong in my car but everything was right, the alignment was right the suspension was OK and the only thing that they found was that my tire pressure was 38 psi and recommend pressure is 36 psi. The written down that over pressure of the tire caused this wear out even that on tire sees 45 psi max is allowed. So when i send this inspection to Michelin they of course respond to mi "We appreciate you providing this information to us. However, the report from Canadian Tire states that the uneven and rapid wear that your tires are experiencing to cause the issues you are having, are due to the tires being overinflated"
Slow service. Many people working but no one seems to move around and answer questions. Otherwise like any other CT with good deals
Good store, many people like it. Perhaps same quality as other CT stores. I normally use it for tools and never for electronics because of the return policy for electronic items (had some experience). Basically you can not return electronic item if you opened the box even if a sales person previously advised that the item is returnable. Also i learnt some time ago that this store is privately owned and does not accept returns of items purchased in other CT stores (which is not a big issue as you always can go in the place of purchase for a return)
