I witnessed the employees including the manager chit chatting with each other right where I was looking at the handbags. No one acknowledged me so I walked right out.
Unfortunately there's no option for negative rating. Otherwise I would have given that. I went to this location to buy myself heels and a bag. I entered the store and what i have seen that 3 employees standing at the counter chit chatting with each other. Not paying even a 1% attention to the customers. I find myself heels and went to the cashier counter to ask for my designated size then they came to help me. Sadly, they were not having my size so she just give me the heels which were on display and i took it. On the very next day i went to return my heels bcz those were not at all comfortable. So the lady refused to take it back by saying i wore it which i never. Firstly they charge me 10$ extra (as mentioned on the heels it was 110 and they charged me 120, god knows why). Secondly they put it in the wrong box.( that i get to know when i went to return, lady said its not even the right box. Well !! Thats not my job to look at my box before i leave the store. Thats the employee's job to do their duties appropriately and put it in the right box) Thirdly the manager was so rude. And she was a racist. She has done the braids and was wearing a grey dress). She yelled at me when i ask her for the return or exhange and she was not even listening to me by keeping her pitch really high. She's such a racist and went on my nationality too which is not at all acceptable. When i ask for the store manager she showed me the attitude and said i am the manager. I don't know what kind of customer service it is.(This store has a zero customer service skills which i think the manager or who so ever is handling it has to work on) And this store manager was also there that particular day when i bought it. It was such an awful experience. Never want to visit this store again especially this location.
Reporting a very racist behaviour displayed by your employee, " DEEpika", employed at the shopper's world store. Out of nowhere while I asked her for help...she started speaking in Punjabi...assuming that I do not know English. while I still kept answering in English. She then came around while I was trying shoe and said " Buy it " AUNTIE" in Punjabi... I felt so embarrased...she was clearly making fun of me... HER RIDICULUOUS BEHAVIOUR KNEW LIMITS... Within minutes she began to target my friend and started asking her about her status in CANADA... My friend refused to answer her...she kept on insisting" Are you a student"? ..Gravely irritated by her behavior...my friend said that she actually works...just to shut her up. I confronted her about her behaviour but she was unapologetic about her behaviour..clearly she made remarks related to age...my language proficiency and our status in CANADA... DEEPIKA..really needs to learn her manners...ALDO needs to address this employee's behaviour and I demand an apology. For the record... I did buy the shoes and she got the sales point... but her behaviour spoiled my day...DEEPIKA needs to be re-trained... ALDO is my favourite place but not anymore and this story will travel long...
Worst experience ever!! I chose a pair of shoes at this store, they only had one which was on display and it did not look good. They said they can order a fresh pair of same shoes and get it delivered to my house and then they just sent me the same pair of shoes I tried in the store and when I called the store, the girl over the phone was a liar as she said it’s delivered from other location and hung up on me. Never go to this store…staff is rude..zero star?
Love the store customer service is top of the line you always get asked for help but not pushed to purchase. Help is always there if needed. Shoes are nicely displayed and easy to find even without help. It’s very well managed even though it is an outlet sometimes sizes are hard to come by but there is always an option to order them and free of shipping costs. This guy Waj helped me to get some shoes for a wedding I was just there to browse and ended up buying 2 shoes. It’s about service and personal connection which I felt with that guy he actually wanted to help and made sure that I get the best match with my navy blue suit. He even offered my kid a candy. Great guy, made my and my family’s day. Thankyou Fully recommend this location 5/5 to anyone who is unsure what to get try it you will find something.
Horrible management. Bought shoes online through paypal but wouldnt return onto a gift card/debit. Said I had to mail it back. How inconvenient? Went to the Aldo at heartland afterwards and they put it onto my debit. Wasted a customers valuable time and not cooperative.
