The employees here are beyond wonderful. Jamie and Kim are so diligent and have a great attitude and shopping here is always a pleasure. The bad reviews are issues with the company, not the wonderful people at this location.
Prices are higher, twice have been charged for online pick up orders and both times Trinity Common location didn't have the inventory for the full order. After emails to receive the credit, I've completely given up on one of the credits totalling about $30. Petsmart Canada has NEVER done this and never would. They honour their prices too. Points program is also bad compared to Petsmart. Their stores are much better and they don't overcharge you and then argue with customers in store about it. As if I can't see the charges in my account.
I’m not one to normally write reviews but I have to say this store, in particular the staff, are the best!! I’ve been going here ever since it opened and they have always been so helpful, easy to talk to, and listen to concerns you have about your pet to try to help as best they can. Today, I went in for a couple different things and ended up staying and extra 20 minutes or so because two of the staff came from wherever they were in the store just because they could hear my dog/knew she was there. The pets and love that came from those 20 minutes will be something I cherish for a long time to come. My dog absolutely loves everyone who works here and will honestly make her rounds if I let her lol. It’s moments like these that we have to hold onto. So I applaud this crew of amazing individuals!! I love my dog but to see others do the same, truly means something special. Thank you REN’s Pets crew!! You’re the absolute best!!! Love Rory
I always have an easier time returning or exchanging products at ANY other location even without a receipt. I understand policies are there for a reason but there are obviously workarounds for certain situations. That grace has NEVER been given to me at this location and I went out of my way to go here. I'm not sure if she's the manager or not but the heavier set woman with glasses did not need to patronize me on my way out especially as it was clear I was already frustrated with her refusal to help me exchange two packages of (equal value) cat food when I was buying 2 dozen. Ridiculous
terrible customer service!! misleading information just to make sales!! one person says one thing and another says something completely different. will not be returning. bigger girl at the front was VERY rude. had a problem with wahl clippers i had purchased & they would not help. long story short got in contact with wahl directly and the nice lady said they should’ve been able to help and sounds like they just wanted to get rid of the machine. which is exactly what they wanted to do… amber had told me i could only bring it back if it’s defective, which it was… also manager didn’t bother to come out… not a good look, they need customer service training! update: received a call today from i believe the upper level customer service from rens pets. i was told that they should’ve dealt with this in a different matter AND they should’ve been able to return the product due to it being defective…
Not a well run business Horrible knowledge of many products at exorbitant prices. Will tell you anything for the sale. They just want the sales. Not a good place to learn about anything needed for your pet needs . Do your research before you go there to be misinformed. Will only purchase from now on at Amazon, Costco or some locally run competitors because of service and policy issues. Last time I will go to a REN’s. Extremely Bad experience.
It's a Canadian company. Need I say more? Service is good and staff are super friendly. We switched from petsmart to Rens about a year ago and haven't looked back. Yeah we miss seeing the live animals at Petsmart but it's a sacrifice we have to make for now.
