I booked a basic car through Expedia, but when I arrived at the AVIS location, the agent asked if I wanted to take a different vehicle. I agreed but specifically asked if I could switch later if needed. He assured me that I could. Then, instead of having the car ready, the agent decided to wash it while I waited—wasting 15-20 minutes of my time. A rental car should be prepared in advance, not cleaned at the last minute. The car I was given was a 6-cylinder model, much heavier on gas than what I had originally booked. When returning it, the agent demanded a full tank, even though I showed him a picture proving I returned it with the same level I received. He then claimed that because I was "upgraded," I needed to return it with a full tank—something that was never mentioned to me at the time of rental. This was a deceptive and unprofessional move. On top of that, when I called the next day to follow up, the agent was rude and dismissive, stating that no car was available and that I would not be getting any money back. I would not recommend this AVIS location to anyone. Their lack of transparency, poor customer service, and unprofessional behavior make it clear that they do not value their customers. I will never rent from them again.

Decent. Purchased a rental for 7 days gave us a black Chevy Malibu. Great condition everything working including Bluetooth speakers and Google maps navigation. Was close so highly recommend

I went by here to on a Saturday morning to add an additional driver to the car we rented. The first additional driver is free according to the package I got but the associate was adamant that it’s going to cost extra. As soon as I mentioned that the additional driver is under 25 years of age, he immediately responded with “The additional driver has to be 25 years of age.” Nowhere in the contract by Avis or the package (purchased via AutoEurope) does it state that the additional driver has to be a certain age. What it does say is, that drivers under the age of 25 years have to pay an additional fee per day. And this we knew of and were ready to pay the amount required. Overall impression of the associate was that he had no interests in helping us and looked for any excuse to not help us. I’m glad that only this location has had this poor customer service. My experience at the Pearson Airport was very different and far more pleasant. The only reason I provided a 2 star rating is because the associate had remained professional throughout our interaction despite his reluctance to help us.

Renting a vehicle was a breeze... Reason for the 2 stars is the location and not having a key drop box afterhours. Parked my vehicle in the back parking lot and I was surrounded by homeless people. The back parking lot had apartments that were boarded up, straight from the hood and was part of the Marigold. Definitely not a safe environment. Would not recommend this location.

Helped me get a car in a pinch and to the last minutes of his shift whereas other places wouldn't answer their phones 15 minutes and more before quitting time!

My experience went smoothly with Avis. The rate was unbeatable, and I made sure to reserve in advance for 5 weeks; Niro (the branch owner) split up the invoice into a 1 month + 1 week rental bundle to maximize savings. He was really nice and flexible with my requests, and was understanding with my concerns. I'd highly recommend this place for your next car rental!

This location is absolute rubbish! They lack an understanding of basic customer service and made no attempts to remedy anything. Parveen definitely needs a lesson or two or three, possibly 4 on how to treat customers! He was rude, very abrupt, barely made any eye contact and refused to let a more sensible person assist us! Also while I was there, a customer called to request a car, it was reserved for him but then they gave it to another customer who walked in and then flat out denied that they made the reservation over the phone when that customer came in. Obviously the customer was irate and get this they made no attempts to rectify the situation! Just terrible. I can't believe that in this day and age one can't even so much as get reliable customer service and be treated with due respect! I wish there was something less than 1 star.
