Black Box TV has gotten what they deserve. They are shut down. The Albion Mall location is closed, and if you think communication was bad before, now its like contacting a vapor. Don't send any money, in any way. You won't get it back and remember how inconsistent the service has been even when they had a storefront. Find another service provider close to you, key words "close to you". Caveat Emptor!
I have been with BlackBox since the very beginning over 8 years ago when they were at Clarence Mall. Their service has definitely gone down hill over the last couple of years.Then they closed their storefront in Brampton and are now at Albion Mall which is difficult and the line ups are crazy with people having issues with their IPTV services. We pay for our services 6 months in advanced and every 2 weeks to a month, my fire stick or gold box will say subscription due and my service is cut out for a day or two which is so inconveniencing. Also, getting a hold of them by phone, text or email is next to impossible. They don't return calls back or fix issues in a timely manner. They are quick to take your subscription money though. As a dedicated subscriber I am so disappointed in their customer service and service in general over the last couple of years. I would not be surprised if they do go out of business soon. Black Box has lost my business and support.
Poor service I will never ever recommend them. I bought a box and stop working I paid for a year subscription and 4 months before the year up the box didn't work they said it's outdated and I have to get a new box. The owner said I would get a discount I agreed after buying the box 1 1/2 years ago, he said just give me a week with your box let's see if it can be repaired before you buy one I left him with the box and he never replied never took my calls nothing I live Hamilton and he is in Etobicoke. Everytime I call he never takes the calls and send an automated message to text and he never replies. Scammers.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY OR YOUR GAS ON BLACK BOX TV!!! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DISCONNECT YOUR SERVICE RANDOMLY. I PAYED OVER A MONTH AGO AND I STILL HAVE NO SERVICE. GOOD LUCK GETTING A HOLD OF ANYONE THAT WORKS THERE THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. THE STORE AT ALBION IS USUALLY NEVER OPEN....GEE I WONDER WHY? I'D ADVISE ANYONE THAT STILL DEALS WITH THEM TO CALL THE MALL TO CONFIRM THERE OPEN BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR GAS DRIVING THERE....OH AND IF THEY ARE OPEN YOU MIGHT WANT TO BRING A FOLD OUT CHAIR BECAUSE THE LINE IS USUALLY HALF WAY DOWN THE MALL FULL OF ANGRY CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR AN HOUR OR MORE. DO YOUR RESEARCH FIND A BETTER PROVIDER I'VE MOVED ON TO GREENER PASTORES.
Useless! Always blocking box even if you paid up to a year in advanced. The phone never get answered and it's very annoying having to go there in person every time.
I've been using the services of Black Box TV for a couple years now and compared to services we've had before these guys are far superior. I like the convenience of doing etranfers to pay for my subscription. I also enjoy the fact that I can pay in advance. I pay foe a year in advance and never run the risk of not having services. Any minor issues are usually taken care of with a phone call. On occasion we would have to take the unit in but, it is fixed and done so within a timely manner. The young people at the desk are usually polite and friendly. They seem very knowledgeable in their area of expertise and answer all your questions with ease and professionalism. There are usually two locations to serve clients. One in the mall across the street (kiosk) and this being the main location. For now they are my go to for this type of service and would easily recommend them to anyone (in fact I have several times and all are clients without issue). **The Brampton location is closed permanently leaving only the Albion mall location. It is becoming increasingly harder to get someone on the phone to answer questions etc. Better communication is needed and far more transparency with customers. The website also needs updating to reflect changes to the business. When you finally get in touch it's fine but one shouldn't have to chase the business for service.
PLEASE PLEASE. Do not waste your time on these people! Find somewhere else. Poor customer service. They do not answer calls, and I missed out 2 weeks on my live channels for a issue on there end, didn’t even think to add it back just said “no refund” ONCE AGAIN. DO NOT GO HERE!
