Cleanest storage facility I've ever been to. Prices are reasonable and all units are climate controlled. No more worrying about my things freezing or baking in some outdoor storage container. 24 access / 365 days a year. Uhaul trucks and trailers are available for pickup or drop off. Garage onsite to install trailer hitches.
Had an absolutely horrible experience with this U-Haul today I will never be using this company for moving again. I will not recommend anybody to use U-Haul for moving from this location. When we got to the location at East Dr, Brampton, it took 45 minutes just to reach the counter and the representative was extremely rude and eating french fries right in front of us and ignoring us and being distracted by everything that was going on around. Then she told us that our booking that we booked 3 weeks ago was not for 24 hours but rather until 3 p.m. because it's "subject to availability" which was never explained at the time of booking. This didn't work for us because our elevator in our building was booked for 3. She proceeded to tell us to calling customer service. We didn't have a choice because no other locations had any trucks available so we just took the truck and called the customer service to see if we can extend it for a few more hours. When I called customer service I ended up waiting for 30 minutes and then they transferred me to another department and I got cut off. And so I called again and when I finally got through to somebody she again told me that they could not do anything for me. And then hung up the phone on me. In the middle of moving which is already tiring enough, picking up the truck should be the simplest tasks, but they made it 10x more frustrating. Do not recommend and will definitely be hiring a moving company in the future and avoid moving truck rentals all together.
This whole experience was absolutely terrible. I am beyond disappointed in your company. I have previously used U-haul, and I will never again be using U-haul for my moving or storage needs. From my initial interaction, with a customer service rep over the phone, to how the clerks in store treated me it was the worst experience ever. Your whole company needs to improve it's customer service standards, rather than judge people for moving which is why they have a job in the first place. You also need to improve your online reservation system as double booking trucks is unacceptable. Your whole company revolves around assisting people with their moving needs and you literally made my move 10x more difficult. Never using your services again, and I'm telling everyone about this ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
They are un-organized and unprofessional at this location. In preparation for moving to a new apartment, I made reservation for a truck several days in advance, only to be called late afternoon a day before truck pick up. I went to their office and the customer service representative was plain rude and uncouth. She lacked empathy and totally looked down on I and my wife for asking her and pleading on how she can be of help.My moving was messed up. Avoid this location if you dont want to be embarrassed!
Renters beware!!!!They need to inspect their equipment before renting it out to a customer. I had to go to Utica, NY for a car competition and rented an auto transport. On the hwy in NY, I noticed smoke coming from the the equipment. At night I had to pull over on the side of the highway to see what was going on. This was scary because I had my wife and baby with me and I'm on the side of the road at night trying to see why there is smoke. I try my best to fix the issue till I can get to the next enroute/service station. I found a temporary fix to try and get to a safer location. At the service station, I saw that the equipment was missing a bolt which caused the driver side guard rail to fall and cut deep into the tire. I wasn't to far from the hotel and try my best to fix the issue enough to get to the hotel. I had to call the hotel to ensure that I didn't lose my reservation due to the fact that I was 2 hours delayed trying to fix Uhaul's equipment. The next morning I called Uhaul to have send a service tech out to either fix the transport or provide a replacement. When returning the equipment, I told the Service Rep's what happen and they didn't apologize or provide any sort of compensation. They took the equipment back as fine working order and then decommissioned the piece of equipment. For this I'll never rent from that location again or from Uhaul. I'll be looking elsewhere for my rental needs.I also had huge issues having them install my hitch for me, ended up taking it else where to have it installed.
