This is one of the worsed Restairant I have ever been with very unfriendly and rude character of who ever sells the food, she is so rude, and this is the last time I will ever go to that place.
Price on the menus is misleading they make up price on the spot, didn’t seem like they wanted to make the food. Over priced. Menu said $12 and lady at the front charged me $30 and tried to hide the amount while I was starting to pay.
Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid at All Costs I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others after my recent experience at this establishment. From the moment I walked in, I was hit with a foul odor that should have been my first red flag. The dining area was dirty, the floors sticky, it looked like cleanliness hadn’t been a priority for quite some time. As for the food — it was inexcusable. The meal I was served tasted old and stale, like it had been sitting out for hours, if not days. There was no flavor, just a strange aftertaste that immediately made me question its freshness. Within hours of eating, I developed a severe stomach ache that lasted well into the next day. It was bad enough that I nearly went to the hospital. This isn't just a matter of poor service or bad cooking, this is a serious public health concern. Based on my experience and what others have mentioned, I strongly urge local health authorities to inspect this restaurant. People can get seriously ill from eating here, and it's only a matter of time before someone ends up in the ER. Bottom line: DO NOT eat here. Your health is not worth the risk.
I have tried their jollof, check check and their fufu with palmnut. They were all bad. The fish in the palmnut was so poorly seasoned and the soup was just average, the fufu was very yellow (idk why) and I didn’t get any meat just two melted pieces of fat. Couldn’t even tell form what animal it’s from. I have wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so many times but it’s not worth it al all. Pls improve
This is one of the best African restaurant ever. Their services are top notch. Their customer service is very good. Their food is very delicious.i will recommend this to anyone who wants one of the best Ghanaian food to eat. Trust me if you eat their food you'll never miss home?
This is some of the best Ghanaian food I’ve tasted in a long time. I’ve been looking for a go to African food place for a while and I finally found it. The friendliness of the workers makes me feel like I’m genuinely in ghana and they have so many options. Like their fried yam is so crispy and I love how spicy the pepper sauce is. Not to mention the jollof was super flavourful with lots of topping choices (stew, egg, beef, chicken, fish). I recommend anyone who’s looking to try Ghanaian food for the first time to go here.

Upon reading the reviews and seeing so many warnings regarding cleanliness and the way they prepare food, I was super hesitant but was like f it anyway because sometimes the grungy mom and pops have the best food. So I went anyway, and the first thing I noticed was the severe lack of cleanliness. I think this is genuinely one of the dirtiest restaurants I’ve been to (and i’ve been to some pretty rough spots). Floors were so sticky, visible grease and dirt marks EVERYWHERE. I couldn’t even get a clear glimpse of their menu because of how cloudy the covid era plastic window was. The lady at the front didn’t even give me 30 seconds to look at the menu before she said “What do you want?”, and she was trying to talk to me all the way from the kitchen while sitting on a stool behind a curtain instead of coming up to me. The music was so loud I could barely hear what she was saying. It also smelled… Not of fresh food or of anything appetizing, just musty. I was interested in trying fufu but after seeing the food on display, uncovered, swimming in grease, I decided to opt with a meat pie as I figured that’d be the safest option. I also had no idea what they looked like, and when the lady brought them out in a ziploc for me to see, she told me $10 was the minimum card charge so I ended up buying 3 at $3/piece. I asked her three times what the filling was and she kept saying meat, like girl what kind of meat? She ended up saying beef- the patties were large in size but pretty bland with barely any filling. Also, girl these are tuna!! Either she forgot or was trying to get rid of them ASAP. When I asked her when they were made, she claimed yesterday, but I just finished one of the pies and now I’m writing with a stomach ache. I love giving any family owned food establishments a try regardless of how modern or “updated” the atmosphere is but this place is a literal biohazard straight from a Kitchen Nightmares episode.
