Very terrible service. Went on the 15th of December to cash a cheque and even though I’m an existing customer they told me that I had to wait 5 business days to get my balance since they only gave me 100. On top of that they verified with the issuing company if it is ok to cash and they said yes. So why do I have to wait till 22nd for my balance. It’s not even a big amount. Only 570 is on hold and charged me almost 40$ fee for this inconvenience. I was an existing customer but no longer will be doing business with money mart. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste your time and money going there.
Please do not believe the 5 star reviews. These reviews are all fake therefore the owner only replied to 5 star reviews because they made innocent people to deliberately post the reviews for more business .i wouldnt even give 1 star if it was possible . Please never use this location for your financial needs. My partner cashed a cheque worth 708$ only for that this location charged 40$ fee and on top of that they called her company to verify the cheque on the spot and company verified it. Still the girl said it will be on hold for 4 business days. on Monday I deposited it and I called them on Thursday. They still saying 5 business days. The person on phone said it will be released on Monday next week that is 22 December 2025. Which will be more then a week. This is pure bullshit store. Also on begging them they only released 100$ for Christmas gifts . Shame the way they conduct business for so called instant cheque cashing.
Please do not take your business to this location. They are posting fake reviews. I cashed a cheque on 15 dec.2025. They verified the cheque with company and making me wait 8 days for only 700$ cheque. From which they took 40$ fee and still harassing me for my money which I needed for Christmas gifts. I know this location very well and I know they close at 8PM but for some reason the agent working tonight would not complete my transaction because apparently the store will close in 20 minutes. Thanks for wasting my time. In the future I will absolutely visit another money agency.
