I enjoy coming to this library because of how cozy and quiet it is and the book selections are pretty good as well. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's also conveniently placed in an easily accessible part of the park!
Visited to location 29/05/2025 to pick up a book that was placed on hold. Doors closed before 8:53pm. I was under the impression this is a City building with structure in place.
This used to be a ski chalet and they did not renovate for the library aspect. If you’re coming to study , just keep in mind that there are barely any power sockets to charge anything
Multi floor public library near Chinguacousy Park. There were few free activities for Kids on Break. Library was maintained very neatly and organized everything well. Staff are good and cooperative. There are several parking lots available. Reasonable seating capacity was available for quiet study or work. Large collection of books and CD Drives were available for reading or pickup. There was small Kids area too for play. Restrooms were available at each floor.
There are still needs for printing such items as shipping tags to return items and pdfs forms that require completion and signature . It is always handy to use the library printer. A good reason to take a walk around the park afterward.
The library is located within the civic centre, well connected to public transport (Bramalea transit terminal within 5 minutes walk). It is well equipped with photocopiers, printers, 3D printers, vinyl cutters and a plethora of activities.A good place to sit and read or do printing/photocopying tasks.New audio studio was revealed after the recent renovations.The staff have been nice, courteous and helpful.It gets busier and louder in evenings and weekends though.Overall, it is a great asset for this area! Keep up the good work!
This is the loudest and most annoying library I've ever been to. AND BY THE WAY little weird high school and middle school couples... NO the library Is NOT a cute place to hangout and makeout.
It's too noisy!! There is always kids crying in the first floor, and the annoying printer sounds in the second floor
Good facilities. Helpful staff.If you need to register for a library card, bring an ID with your address on it or any letter with your address in it.
i have no choice than to visit because it is close to work. An old man came in here and was loudly watching an X rated movie.. probably with the rented laptop and none of the staffs said anything. A guy seated in front of him had to go to his table and he stopped because everyone turned back to look towards his direction. he was seated right in front of the wall (the last seat) which is perfect for such nastiness in public with kids!
