This is the best grocery store i been to and not just for west indian Guyanese grocery but in general! The meat like goat and duck are soooooo good better than i got from anywhere else ! My mom bought fish called gilbaka for curry and it was soooo fresh like u can taste the quality when compared to other stores like ASA or Ravi that gillbaka has a frozen taste. Jas gillbaka was so soft and fresh. When u go here look for David I think he's the owner because he went approve and beyond with customer service! Helping me and my mom choose nice stuff based on what we liked and is soo polite and honest. Hes a cutie pie and I recommend this store because of him and the experience he made so nice. Thank you David and thank you Jas Supermarket for taking care of the west indian community 10 stars
Called the store as they had posted something that I never see here. Omg!! The perfect seedless fresh peewahs!! The owner and his daughter were so sweet and friendly! Instant friendsjust so delicious and filled my homesickness!! Thank you!
I thought I finally found a good place to buy West Indian groceries. After today I will take my money elsewhere because of the owner/ cashier’s condescending attitude towards me after I decided I didn’t want the catfish because it doesn’t look fresh. FYI customers are allowed to refuse to buy something if it’s not good. Some customers would have left everything and walked out after the way she behaved but I didn’t. I paid for the rest of my groceries. Learn to speak to people. It’s a major part of your business.
They offer a large variety of spices. We got Ram goat meat here. The meat was very good and tender when cooked. Friendly owner, daughter and staff. Highly recommend this supermarkets.
Jas is the best store ever and the goat meat very very very very fresh!!!!!!!. i have been coming here for years and years now and so far the service is great as well as the butcher side is very clean and moist. if you are looking for goat meat but can't find any fresh then come on down to Jas Supermarket at 9025 torbram rd brampton ontario L6S 3L2 you wont regret and disappoint in this place and the best part about jas is they have everything from chicken patties to bakery and spices as well Please do come and visit once in a while.
Went to buy a barrel. The service was excellent. The young man was very polite, place the item in my car and told me to have a good day. Excellent customer service. I would return to purchase other items in the future.
