they don't helped us,we want buy some stuff. i did call they attend my call but they without proper any reply cut my call. i did one more time try,and doesn't any reply.
Insulting and overpriced. Went there today to look for a barrel to send to Jamaica after the recent hurricane. The man said since I look desperate, he’ll sell me his last one for $90. Not only was he insulting me but also trying to overcharge me. The other West Indian supermarkets are selling the barrel for $65 and are polite. This place will never get a dollar of my hard earned money.
Gem's is appropriately named, because it really is a gem of a shop. I have placed multiple online orders to BC, and each time the order is shipped speedily with eco friendly packing material (it's a bonus to receive the Toronto Caribbean newspaper!). The customer service and communication has been top notch, and it's lovely to be able to support a small Canadian business. 10/10 recommend!
One of the best Caribbean stores in brampton has everything you need in one stop and there products are real and genuine not the fake stuff people are selling they have baba roots and all type of health products you name they have it Big up
The guy that is always there is such a humble & humane man. My Dads good friend. Things aren’t cheap but nothing good is cheap. So you get what you pay for & they’ve good products.
I've been going to Gem grocery for many years, and I must say the workers at this location are very friendly and welcoming. I also go to the Wholesale location and they always have the most affordable can ackees on sale. The owner for Gem's Restaurant and grocery stores he is very generous and supports the community.
Great black own business by one of us, great customer service, clean and friendly atmosphere, however there a few critical issues to correct to move to another level one place needs expansion to give more room to to the customers, there are no prices on some of the items, there are no itemized receipts, prices are extremely expensive in comparison to the surrounding competitors , these are my personal observation .
