I used to see theo but I haven't seen him in a while. The other people there are minimal help and have social skills that make me question why I walked in. Even the prices are TERRIBLE. In a world where everything is going digital, somehow an old physical copy of a game in poor condition is more expensive than finding it online for cheap. From what I hear the owner, edwin, is incompetent and stubborn. Someone who has 0 idea on what he's selling, said by his own employees. I guess that tells you everything you need to know about shopping at this dump.
After a brief hiccup in which I was sent a different version of Pokemon White 2 than what I ordered, they corrected the mistake and mailed me the correct version at no additional cost. Great customer service!
I don’t know what to rate it but I never been here and I might come because I herad that they have ps3 games (and none other stores have) so are they always in on the shelf’s ( I might get gta 5 for ps3)
Super friendly, super helpful, nice to finally interact with normal people for a change. (Same with the other location near 22 division) I'm looking forward to returning should I need anything else from them.
Game was stolen, company did not have a professional response. I watched the Canada post employee deliver it and grabbed it immediately. See below, very disappointed. "Sorry Natasha , the damage to your envelope does not look like something that happened in a Canada Post sorting machine. We send out thousands of envelopes everyday and have never seen someone carefully tear out the game from the envelope. This damage happened by someone who picked it out of your unlocked mailbox. Further we think this person knows you because they knew what you were getting and if it was an unknown person they would simply have stolen the envelope not stand there and tear out the game. We have determined your mailbox is susceptible to theft and we cannot send anything to your address again unless you pay for registration."
So I bought a PS1 model SCPH-5501 and I plugged it in and all was working but one major thing My controller witch was the dual shock one didn’t work as in it’s not responding idk what to do
I found this Game Hoard location on google and vividly remember driving past this place many times. Decided to give this place a try because I wanted to buy an N64 and other peripherals and even shopping from the outside, (due to lockdown) these guys are very knowledgeable. They knew exactly what I wanted without any questions and gave amazing service. Left within 15-20 mins with everything I needed. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone trying to invest into retro gaming or even look for games that are unavailable to purchase at generic retail locations. I will be visiting this location when they re-open again. Thanks Game Hoard
