We did booking of tent last minute with Simar, he is so easy to deal width,provided us heaters ,tent,flooring. Most important he has an excellent guy for customer service,though he is not cheap ,lol .
I can’t say enough good things about Exotic Tents and Rentals. They were responsive, reliable, and creative with their setup ideas. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful everything looked. Definitely using them again!
Best guys ever met, they were supportive and delivered an excellent service.. I had hired someone else but they ditched last minute .. exotic guys jumped in and made sure that we our events are doing great ..blindly trust these guys !! My opinion
One of the Worst Vendor Experiences – Unprofessional and Untrustworthy I strongly advise anyone considering this tent rental company to look elsewhere. My experience with them was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Despite confirming all details weeks in advance, they delivered the tent and equipment at the last possible minute, causing unnecessary stress just hours before the event. Even worse, the items delivered were not what we had originally agreed on—they changed key elements without consulting us and claimed it was “standard.” As if that wasn’t enough, they increased the agreed-upon price at the last minute, demanding payment on the spot and threatening to remove the tent right before the event if we didn’t comply. This was not only unethical, but felt like extortion. We were left with no choice but to pay to avoid completely ruining the event. Throughout the process, the owner was arrogant, dismissive, and incredibly unprofessional. Any promises or reassurances they gave beforehand were completely ignored. They do not honor their word, and once they have your deposit, their attitude changes drastically. This company is unreliable, dishonest, and lacks any sense of customer service or accountability. Do yourself a favor and avoid this vendor at all costs—there are plenty of reputable companies out there who won’t put your event at risk.
A Complete Disaster – This Company Is a Scam, Not a Service If I could give zero stars, I would. This tent rental company is an absolute disgrace to the industry and should be avoided at all costs. Our experience with them was not only disappointing — it was borderline fraudulent. Despite confirming every detail weeks in advance, they showed up at the last minute, creating unnecessary chaos and stress. Worse, they swapped out the items we specifically requested without any notice or explanation. What was delivered was not what we ordered — and they acted like we should be grateful they showed up at all. To make matters even more outrageous, they jacked up the price at the last possible moment, right before the event, and demanded immediate payment of the inflated amount. They actually threatened to dismantle and remove everything if we didn’t comply — holding our event hostage just hours before it started. It was manipulative, coercive, and completely unethical. The owner was rude, arrogant, and blatantly dishonest. Not a single promise was kept. They repeatedly lied, gave the runaround, and acted as if doing their job was some kind of favor. Once they had the deposit, they stopped caring and treated us with total disregard and disrespect. This company operates with zero integrity and has no concept of professionalism. They don’t care about your event, your contract, or your peace of mind. They are unreliable, unethical, and should not be in business. Save yourself the stress and avoid this predatory operation. There are real professionals out there — this company is not one of them.
Brampton, find another place to rent from! My brother (who doesn’t live with us) rented only 30 chairs and 6 tables. Items all arrived dirty and run down. When I commented to the delivery persons that things were being delivered dirty, they took cleaner from their van and began to wipe down the tables & chairs in my backyard, which was ok, but they didn’t clean anything well enough, it was very rushed. Delivery person admitted everything had just been picked up from another event. Gross! 1 table arrived broken, I noticed shortly after they left. I advise them right away but was told to take a picture and send it to another #, I was disappointed that they didn’t have the courtesy to just pass on the message instead of making the customer run around. Finally, after our event, during pick up, I showed the supervisor which table we were unable to use that was broken, he said it wasn’t theirs, a client must have tricked them, giving the company their broken table taking one of their goods ones (Insert dramatic eye roll!) After everything was picked up, my brother called for a refund for the broken table, and was told that cash was left with “a young guy”. There are no guys here - just me & mom. So ridiculous. Finally, you would think with only 30 chairs they’d all be the same, but no, similar but you could tell there were 2-3 different styles of white folding chairs. Absolutely no attention to detail, which scares me that this is an event planning company. Yikes! UPDATE: The owner left a reply to this Google review saying they gave a refund, but they did not. They told us to get the refund we’re owed, we’d have to take down this Google review! Ha! Absolutely disgusting. Hope your business fails miserably, and that karma gets you x100000. I’m not going to fight any longer to get back $15 from you terrible people.
I came across exotic tent rentals randomly and boy oh boy, am I glad I did. I was looking for tent rental services for my wedding, and upon comin across their Instagram page, I got in touch with Simar. Just in one single phone call, Simar explained everything to me, gave me a quote but most importantly he provided me with a PEACE OF MIND. Just in one conversation, I knew it in my heart that I did not want to hire anyone else. Throughout my events, Simar was easily accessible. If there were any issues, Simar had a solution but most importantly Simar was RELIABLE. The tent was absolutely gorgeous, the team was absolutely amazing. I cannot thank Simar and team enough for being a part of my wedding and making it the most beautiful wedding of my dreams. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
