Great store! I drive usually an hour just to go here...good specials. Great for people who cook West Indian food. Fresh fish is the best. Only negative is the wait times in fish area. Great specials too. Worth the drive for me
I like this place. Fresh produce, fast efficient service, long lineups though because it is so popular. Buy everything you need food wise plus alternative foods like imitation meats is there. My personal favourite is....imitation lamb found in the freezer tubs. Also sell gluten free pasta. Plus they have a buffet that smells so good. Shop and eat equals good times.
Do NOT go to this store. Ive been here countless times over the past few years for EMERGENCY purchases. First of all, it is not sanitary at all. It is filthy, and disgusting. The service is terrible. Sometimes, rude employees, other times the employees dont speak ENGLISH. We asked for a certain product we noticed in the flyer, and this employee just walked away, because he didnt understand. He did not refer us to customer service, he just walked away and left our problem to ourselves. Not only that, but one employee I saw would not help me, even if she spoke English. She refused to help at all. The most concerning thing about this place is that some of the expiration dates lie. They are NOT truthful. I purchased a pack of flatbread, and the expiration date said July 19, 2018 its currently July 10, 2018, so I thought it would be fine. When I opened the package, there was a really bad smell. I looked inside, and there was mould all over 4 pieces of the bread. The packaging was clear, but the sticker in the front of it was what was covering the mould on it. I immediately threw this away. The prices in this place are also outrageously expensive. I would say the only good thing about this place is the hot food counter. I would not recommend you shop at oceans food mart (At least not this location) and would instead refer you to find a much more sanitary, and clean place to shop in.
Love this supermarket. If you're Jamaican, Chinese, Indian etc. You will find groceries catering to your nationality. It's an amazing place to shop.
