This No Frills is okay.. product selection isn't great but not the worst I've seen (they don't have much of a dessert section). The customer service is okay, and the store is fairly large and well spaced out. I would go to this No Frills again.
I love this no frills. Everything is displayed easily to find and great priced items. Lines always move quickly. Staff is amazing.
Unfortunately, there's no sign at the front of the store or at the cashier posts saying this store doesn't accept VISAs. If there is, it's not big enough to be noticed. I assume the most opportune time to inform a customer is when they're about to make a purchase. It's perfect 1. the pressure from a cashier 2. the pressure from the line up 3. the pressure that debit/credit transactions are supposed to be fast make it the perfect time to coerce paying customers into feeling they're holding up the line. This store and all No Frills that only accept Mastercards need big, noticeable signs that say that. Otherwise, reviews like this may have customers looking for alternatives.
I have a serious pet peeve with people who can't follow simple rules. Both the customer and employee are at fault. Express lane. Means Express. 1 to 8 items. Yet the customer in front of me piles on 26 items!!!!!!!!! Store was not busy so no reason to not use the correct isle. An cashier should have given him the directions about the isle. This cashier also proceeded to charge me for 2 bags an had no interest in giving them to me. Not impressed
Weekdays there is enough produce but weekends is understandable that there isn't enough. In that case, there should be more employees moved to the produce to ensure full stock. Produce gets soggy fast as the water sprays too often. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Odd times there is a beggar outside who asks for spare change...management agement have been made aware in the past but often I see the same guy.
