I had my entire main floor (1300 square feet) and stairway renovated by Vellfinish Flooring. I had the Vellfinish team put in all new oak plank hardwood flooring and for my stairs I had the stairs sanded down and restained with a colour that matched my flooring. I also had my stairway pickets ripped out and replaced with rod-iron pickets. I was at first a little skeptical to use Vellfinish because of the low price that was quoted to me -- the stairway in particular was much lower than any of their competition had quoted me. However, now that the job has been completed, I cannot speak highly enough about this team. The quality of their work and product is top notch and they were extremely professional throughout the entire project, always keeping me informed on what would be completed next. They work extremely hard and long hours, completing the job right on the scheduled dates they had provided me prior to starting the work. There is truly nothing negative I can say about this team -- I actually was honest to the owner of Vellfinish Floors when they had finished the job and told him that based on the quality of work performed, he should increase his prices because he produces a top quality product at a margin of what his competition is charging. I would and I will be definitely using this team again for my basement floor renovation coming up next year.
Vellfinish has the best price in brand-named flooring and they have a huge selection! However, the thing that puts them over the top is their customer service. Mr. Gurwinder was excellent and really helped with the selection, pricing, and shipping. He is not the pushy type of salesman but a kind hearted soul. My parents (who are elderly) went to the store and felt the same way. Mr. Gurwinder was also very quick to respond to email and very clear about manufacturer policies when choosing flooring ahead of time. It was not a surprise and I completely appreciate that. I will definitely will be recommending this store even though it took me about 50mins without traffic to get there - it’s worth it!
