Overall, I am satisfied with my experience of working with Jugraj and his team @ Singh Renovations. They completed my legal basement apartment within budget and within committed time (6-8 weeks). They also offer a 1-yr warranty which is a big plus. I was in a bad situation when my previous contractor abandoned the job after the building permit was issued. I was transparent with Jugraj about my situation, and he didn't exploit it with high pricing. In fact, he worked with my budget constraints and proposed creative options. Jugrag can be trusted with money matters - you don't have to worry about them disappearing after taking a down payment or mid-way though the job. But definitely make sure you are documenting money exchange no matter who you work with! His crew is proficient, friendly, respectful and skillful - they know how to construct good quality legal basements and get it approved without hiccups. Areas for improvement - we did have a couple of hiccups during construction, but they were resolved effectively by Jugrag without any arguments. I believe these issues could have been avoided through better/ open communication and through an increased site presence from Jugrag. Jugraj has tremendous experience, and his site presence would catch things that could otherwise get missed. Also, their crew mostly builds legal basement apartments for rental purposes, so they are more focused on the functionality rather than cosmetics and aesthetics. If you are a picky homeowner like me who wants to use the space themselves then make sure that you are clear about your expectations upfront and do spot checks. Would I work with Jugrag again? Yes, absolutely!
Dealing with Jugraj has been excellent. He's helped brainstorm different options for our budget, has been prompt, and helped us complete the last few steps of our basement renovation project in a timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Jugraj and his team for any future projects!
Everything went in a very professional way, as it was a time bound work they worked really hard to complete the job within the time limits. Price was exactly what was quoted and the Quality was more than expectations as they have really good skilled team. I would recommend them. Thanks !
Don't call these guys, they will take your money and do nothing. They took a deposit from my mother and never came back to do the job. We called them for days and weeks and they kept lying that they will come to do the job. They never made an effort to come back. This was over a year ago.
Jug raj finished legal basement according to drawing including all inspections within six weeks as per contract. I would like to recommend to others. He used above average material as he promised.
This review is according to my personal experience with them,I wish I can give them zero stars,They are very unprofessional,They left my basement Incomplete,Just because I paid the money in the beginning,I have called them hundred of times and Request them to Finish the work they have leftover,And they never came,Now I have to pay thousand and Thousand dollars more just to get everything fixed.
Jugraj did an excellent job with our basement. Someone who really knows what true customer service is. He goes above and beyond expectations. He is very professional, honest and keeps you posted about developments. There were some delays as expected which were beyond everyone’s control but overall it’s a five star for him. Our basement looks just like an upscale condominium and it’s all thanks to him. My husband, Riyaz Visram and I highly recommend him ..... look no further!
