I had previously hired this company to do a simple flooring installation which they were able to complete, and so I recommended them to my friend to have his bathrooms renovated. Huge mistake on my part. They rushed their work with no care for workmanship. I would caution anyone who hires them to do any plumbing related work. They are not licensed plumbers and will cut corners and do work that is not to code. They caused multiple leaks in my friend's house, spilt paint on his driveway, and cut massive holes in walls to correct mistakes they made (that were totally avoidable). I regret having to put my friend through the trouble of dealing with this company.
I hired Shivang to renovate two bathrooms upstairs in my house a few months ago, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. The experience has been far worse than I could have ever imagined. While I have been hesitant to make this public out of courtesy, the new issues continued to merge one after another, both during and after the project. Some of these issues remain unresolved, and it has now reached a point where I can no longer tolerate it. I just had a new born a few weeks ago. As a new parent, this entire ordeal has severely impacted my mood and disrupted the tranquility of my home. I feel compelled to share my experience here, both to document what happened and to provide reference for others. To begin with, I emphasized multiple times that water leakage was my biggest concern. Despite this, multiple careless mistakes during the project caused leaks, leaving five water stains on my first-floor ceiling. Even after Shivang claimed everything was fixed, water was actively dripping from the ceiling again which required another fix. Another major issue is vibrating pipes—the main reason I am posting this review today. Whenever I turn on the master bathroom faucet, there is a loud noise and shaking, both on the second and first floors. This never existed before the renovation, and it was caused by improper fastening when relocating the pipes. This issue has worsened over time and remains unfixed. Some of the other major problems I encountered include: 1. Installing incompatible shower parts, requiring repeated rework, and causing prolonged frustration. And as a result, cutting drywall in my closet and master bedroom (without prior heads up or permission). Certain spots are still not color matched. 2. Flooding my basement by accidentally pulling out my laundry water pipe, then falsely claiming I had a foundation crack. I had to go through unnecessary inspections before discovering the real issue myself and cleaning up the mess. 3.Pouring paint on my driveway, requiring multiple attempts to remove the stains. 4. Breaking their promise to cut tiles in my garage or outside, instead cutting them inside my master bathroom with no protective covering, leaving a huge mess. I had to hire professional cleaners and still spent days cleaning myself. 5. Leaving the popcorn ceiling with obvious unevenness and cracks after improper fixing/repaint. 6. sloppy craftsmanship, some of which remains below expectations despite multiple fixes. 7. Adding to the frustration was the attitude toward addressing mistakes—treating fixes as additional cost or even a favour rather than taking true accountability and doing them properly first time. I have paid Shivang in full, but this has been a horrible experience from start to finish. And it has been an extremely stressful, frustrating and disappointing process.
