My friend and I visited today to get threading and our nails done, but we were quite disappointed with both services. The person who did my threading didn’t seem to understand or follow what I asked for. I specifically told him to only remove the extra hairs around my eyebrows, but he made them so thin that they now look like lines on my forehead. I’m really uncomfortable with the result. It’s important for staff to listen to and follow customer preferences, but after everything was done, no one showed any concern about the outcome of my threading, which was very disappointing.
I came in for a simple acrylic nail removal, and I left with my natural nails more damaged than when I walked in. The tech didn’t even bother soaking my nails in acetone. Instead, she went straight in with the drill the entire time — aggressively and nonstop. After she said she was done, I washed my hands and could clearly see patches of acrylic still stuck on multiple nails. When I mentioned it, she told me, “That’s to protect your nail.” Since when is a random chunk of acrylic on the free edge considered “protection”? It made no sense. I asked her to actually remove it properly, and she went back in with the drill again — even more roughly, almost out of spite. It was painful to the point I had to pull my hand away. And even after all that, there was STILL acrylic left on my nails. How is that fair? Then, she charged me $20 for a removal that wasn’t even done correctly. The whole reason I went was to give my nails a break, but now they’re thin, uneven, and damaged. Honestly, I would’ve been better off removing them myself at home — at least I wouldn’t have left in pain. Save yourself the stress. I will not be returning.
I’m not someone who usually complains or leaves low ratings, but I’m quite disappointed with my recent experience. I had my nails done a few days ago, and unfortunately, the results didn’t turn out well. I usually go to Luxurious Nails, but they were fully booked and I needed them done urgently. Before starting, I confirmed the price — $60 for biogel and $10 for removal — to avoid confusion. However, I was charged $75. The salon was about to close, and I only realized the discrepancy afterward, so I called Anh to clarify. It’s not about the extra cost — I wouldn’t mind paying more if the work was done properly — but overall, I’m disappointed with the quality and service. I’ll likely return to Luxurious Nails in the future. ---
Brought my daughter for a haircut for the first time to this place. The haircut is horrible. My daughter showed the lady a photo of how she would like her hair to look like. She had her hair very long to her waist, she cut almost all her hair with not even a shape. Very horrible cut, I wouldn’t even bring my pet for a haircut to this place. In 2 mins she was done cutting her hair. I wanted to give them a zero rating if I could.
Very bad she did a horrible job at applying lashes my eyes were hurting and got swollen. Very bad quality. Very bad experience. Not worth sending money. She was rude while i was choosing nail color as well. She made a very bad shape and started getting irritated when i asked her to change the shape.
The absolute worst nail salon in Brampton, SAVE YOUR MONEY. I went in for a simple nail polish change on my toes and asked her to also put 2 acrylic nails and she charged me $45 DOLLARS!!! Just to paint my toes, and when I asked her about the price she started saying oh it’s gel nail polish, is the nail polish made of diamonds!?!!! I know for a fact she hiked up the price on me just because I was doing a nail polish change. Im reporting them to the ministry of labour because this is unethical. There should be a clear menu that states all the prices. And to top it off she reused the tools and did not sanitize anything, and she cut me. My skin was bleeding and she kept pressing my toe to get it to stop. In what world does a nail polish change and 2 acrylic nails on my big toes equate to $45???
The service is terrible. They don’t know how to do your nails. The worst place ever. I paid $55 for a terrible service. Besides the very poor service they complain about your nails. I would give no star if I could.
