Making waves is the best swim school with amazing instructors. My kids are enjoying their swimming journey with proper encouragement every time. They are completing their levels very fast with proper guidance and safety. I am so grateful for that. Thank you so much for Making Waves for providing the best experience all the time.
The classes are really repetitive. Head coachs and supervisors should help the coachs more. We did 4 lessons and it was the same thing for all the lessons hardly anything new. When talking to supervisors and giving a bad feedback nothing was changed they said its fundementals and no other explaintion for a year why they are doing the same thing over and over again. Swimming spaces are very small pool was divided up way more than before This place is all about making money. Get as many kids in the pool and give them the smallest space to work with. We have now move to swimming lessons with the city of mississauga. Classes are alot better and save over 60%. For what they charge at making waves you can get private lessons. Will not be back nor would i recommend this place to anyone.
Very amazing place! My nephews go here and they absolutely love it! An instructor named Kalia teaches them and they adore her. She is lovely! Their favourite coach there!!
All three of my children have attended Making Waves since they were babies. The eldest two completed level 10 and my youngest is in level 8. As someone who loves swimming, I've been incredibly impressed with their methods. My children are confident and skillful swimmers because of Making Waves.
Excellent location, energetic young smiling staff who are always willing to accommodate and assist you. The coaches are very attentive and make certain that each child receives the same amount of attention and instruction. My daughter graduated from there, and I couldn't be more pleased with their service.
After struggling with the City instructor for swimming - class size was 7:1 (my child did not get the attention she needed, total waste of money), I decided to go to Making Waves. Best decision ever... They have been absolutely amazing with my daughter.. I am amazed at how quickly she advanced and how far she has come with her swimming thanks to the instructors at MWSS Brampton. I would totally recommend them to anyone who is looking at getting their little fish to learn to swim..Class ratio is 3:1 so your child gets the attention he/she needs in each and every class..The only thing I wish they did was offer a discount to parents who have had the kids there for more than a year.. kind of like a loyalty incentive...On Jun 27, 2018... my daughter passed level 10.. I must say a huge thank you to the staff at MWSS.. especially Keeron her instructor.. we requested Keeron and management was happy to accommodate . Keeron has always made his lessons so much fun and enjoyable while pushing the kids to do their utmost best.. amazing kid.. thank you so much for being Renata's instructor for the last 3 seasons....
My daughter has Julien as an instructor and we are very pleased with the progress she has made. Before Julien we were not happy but then he made our daughter love swimming. If you are new to making waves I recommend you request Julien. Also I want a shoutout the head person Perth as he has been really supportive throughout the swimming season.
My son had amazing progress ever since he started his classes at MWSS .. trainers are very professional .. clean facility .. feedbacks after each session has been great to know what area to improve ... I would strongly recommend this swimming school to all my friends ...
My little one has a hard time with new faces and it usually takes her 2-3 days to adjust. She loved her original teacher however she was often not there, leaving my child anxious and crying not wanting to participate because of the substitute teachers :/ not a good experience for me :( Also the place is very very loud and small.
My daughter has been coming since she was 4-5 months old for the parent and tot class and we love it! We've had great instructors so far (Robyn, Sharmeen, Isaac) who have all been very patient. Great experience with the instructors during make up classes as well (Amalbir & the other male instructor whose name I forgot!). I just wish they had an additional pool and more change areas as I feel like the enrolment has certainly grown in the last year or so and these areas get crowded. I much prefer this school to my local rec centre. And much prefer the smaller class sizes. So worth the money. I look forward to enrolling my little one for the next session! Great job guys!
