Taking our newborn to the dentist for the first time felt a little overwhelming, but this office made everything so easy and comforting. Dentist Walker is amazing and reassuring, and took the time to walk us through every step. You can tell they truly care about the tiniest patients? The staff was just as kind—welcoming us with smiles, answering all our questions, and making sure we felt completely supported. The whole visit was calm, smooth, and so positive. We’re so grateful to have found a dental team we can trust from the very beginning of our baby’s journey. Highly recommend to any new parents!
We had a wonderful experience bringing our newborn here!! Dr Walker is incredibly gentle, patient, and knowledgeable, and took great care to make sure we understood everything about our baby’s oral health. The entire staff was just as amazing—so warm, caring, and attentive. The office has a calm, welcoming environment, which made the visit so much easier for both us and our little one. It’s clear that everyone here truly loves working with babies and families. We feel very grateful to have found such a perfect place for our newborn’s dental care. My daughter had her first appointment / consultation / assesment with Dr. Walker and her team. She has Downsyndrome and is very nervous with new people especially doctors. From the moment we walked in we were super impressed. It was decorated so beautifully with bright coloured animals and backgrounds. The waiting room was spotless and had a big screen tv playing Cocomelon which was impressive to my daughter. In order to make her comfortable they had some bubbles when we were walking into her examination room, a baby doll on the dentist chair and even a tv on the ceiling playing Gabby and Friends. The dental assistant and the dentist herself were very friendly and confident in dealing with my daughter even with some push back from her. Dr. Walker had wonderful techiques that made it very successful and taught us so much about how to help our daughter going forward. I recommend this dental office to anyone with a child and especially people with children who have special needs / adhd. My only recommendation would be a lower tone of voice upon meeting the child. Dr. Walker is so beautiful and full of life and enthuziastic to meet us. My daughter specifically is sensitive to voice volume and I have noticed she is quicker to calm when the new person is soft spoken. Dr. Walker was able to calm her quickly and left a wonderful impression.
We had a great visit at Smirks and Smiles Kids Dentist! Dr. Walker and the entire staff were excellent—professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. They made my child feel comfortable and at ease from the moment we walked in. It was an extremely fun experience—this is truly the Disney of kids' dentistry! ? The office is clean, kid-friendly, and well-organized. Dr. Walker took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all our questions with patience and care. Just finished our first visit to Smirks & Smiles with our 18 month old. He is very fussy about his teeth and we were worried about how the visit would go. From first walking in the receptionist (I believe her name was Corrine, sorry if wrong!) was warm and welcoming. The clinic itself is so geared towards children and my son had so much fun looking at the flowers and wall graphics. When we went in Ella (I believe!) came out with bubbles and brought us back to the tiger rooms. The amount of thought and care that went into making this clinic a comfortable space for children is unreal. After running through our history and concerns, Ella made us feel so comfortable. Next we met Dr.Walker and she did the exam. She was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Our son did way better than expected and that was absolutely due to the atmosphere and quality of staff. I highly recommend coming here and look forward to being back!
Absolutely amazing service! The staff is super friendly and so welcoming! It was our daughter's first experience coming to the dentist and she left smiling! The office setup with vibrant animal paintings was so beautiful and the welcome with bubbles made the overall experience so much fun for our little one! Highly recommend this place!!
it was having great experience with Dr walker and her team . kids friendly staff and environment . My daughter is 8 years and she does not scare of going to see dentist again .
