Long time listener, first time visitor! I’ve heard the Long & McQuade musical instrument ads on radio for years. And Lo and behold I finally visited with the family to pickup a larger-sized violin from this location. The store has a huge assortment of different instruments including new and used in its various sections ranging from guitars to flutes to saxophones. Some instruments can be tried and we noticed a few young musicians playing the piano while waiting for their music class. Indeed this store also features a set of teaching classrooms in a back corner and many families appeared to come into the store to attend their session. Our sales rep was quite patient letting us test several different violins and answer our questions regarding the brand quality and the differences size. We were able to get a good deal during the Black Friday sale with help from the manager. Our case and bow were also checked to be of good quality. The family left impressed with the service.

So i called in to ask a cuple questions about trading in a guitar and i know that obviously to get a real price on worth the guitar would have to be inspected and tested fully understood but when im told "3 guys will look at it and give me a price".. with no refence material and or past sales and no they cant even give me an idea of if its worth the time to drive down and look at a trade in abosutly redicouls i was told thats "too bad " and was cut off multiple times and then told goodbye ..... so i call online sales and within 2 mins had an idea if it was even worth my time the ego on who ever i spoke with is redicouls and thats the ego killing music store industry cant even answer a simple questions i was being complety understanding that what ever number i was gona hear was not gona be the actual price of the guitar but when asked how they can give me a price with no refrence matreial and or data on pricing apperently 3 guys "just know and can give me a price off the top of there head".... aboustley redicouls couldnt even answer a simple question over the phone but online sales was able to in under 5 min with previous sales he also explained how its a person thing but atleast he had the courtesy to try to help me out .... get rid of the ego learn actual customer service.... not everyone has the time or means to just drive and hour there and back thats why i was just asking for an idea nothing set in stone i used to love this music store mainly because of the amazing people that used to work there but who ever i spoke with today needs a leson on customer serivce i wont ever take my guitar or other instruments there now because of the way i was treated over a cuple simple questions

I drove over an hour to this Long & McQuade location to test a microphone I placed a deposit on — valued at over $1500. I asked to try it, as I’ve done many times at other branches with no issue. The clerk, Fernando, told me to “just take it home and test it.” When he found out it was a second-hand mic, his tone shifted and he remarked, “you should’ve started with that,” in a condescending way. That response was rude and completely uncalled for. I don’t know how someone like this is allowed to interact with customers. His attitude was passive-aggressive, unhelpful, and reflects poorly on the store. If this is the standard of service, I won’t be returning to this branch. I expect better from Long & McQuade. Customers spending this much deserve respect — not laziness or arrogance.

Received quite disappointing service from a staff member named Nicholas, who ruined my experience today with awful customer service. He spoke to me in a rude tone when I asked where an item was. He just pointed instead of leaving his computer and walking me over. Do not recommend him to anyone to deal with, especially if looking for help.

Today I just went there to know whats not correct with my headphones as a novice. It was my first experience with Long & McQuade. Nicholas - Audio Eng. guided and made sure that my query was resolved. Thank you very much for the expertise. Highly recommend.

I went in the store on october 31. I had a frustrating experience with the accounts manager at this music store. They were unhelpful and seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns. It felt like my business didn't matter to them at all. I expected better customer service, especially from a music store that should value its customers. I won't be returning anytime soon unless there are significant changes in their management. So yeah I bought these two speakers from somewhere else.

I came in to get my strings replaced and oh my goodness. I don’t know what they did to it but it feels and sounds immaculate. Whoever changed my strings, I hope you are living the best and happy life
