I attended yesterday’s bhajan jamming program at Brampton and enjoyed it a lot. It was a soulful experience and very mesmerizing. My children also enjoyed it. Please convey my blessings to Savrita. She has such a beautiful voice and she immersed everyone into her bhajans. May God give her lots of success in life. Thanks a lot
Event was good initiative.I truly enjoyed it. The only concern I had was the main singer, Harita Desai, was a Sangeet Visharad and she is fully aware with Guru shishya parampara, so when she introduced her son learning tabla, what was the reason she didn't give name of her son's Tabla guru? Which she was supposed to announce with pride, but instead she mentioned he is learning from Zakir Hussain's student. This really made me uncomfortable. She can't be a Sangeet Visharad. At the end of show I asked why his guru name was not given, and her reply was how many people's name am I going to announce, and that was a complete insult of the Guru. For which she lost my complete respect.
The Bhajan Jamming was truly magical. Those two hours felt pure and spiritual, and I honestly wished it lasted longer. It takes you away from daily stress and fills you with calm, positive energy. The event was beautifully organized, and the team deserves a big thank you for creating such a warm space. I hope we get to experience it again soon. Please host it more often so everyone can come, open their hearts, and soak in the positivity. Jay Shree Krishna.
I was lucky one to attend first ever Bhajan Jamming of Canada presented by Svarita Music Academy, it was a phenomenal experience. I look forward to attend more Bhajan Jamming.
Haritaben and Rajanbhai is dedicated couple to music. They are very good in understanding capacity and requirement of student and teaching accordingly. I suggest for vocal music this is best school in GTA area.
