Sarah teal guided us through approximately a two year process with the LTB and she went above and beyond her contracted services. We felt as if she was also as emotionally invested in our hearing as we were and that spoke volume to us as clients. Sometimes it took some time to hear back from her(as she is quite busy), but you just need to trust that she will be prepared for your hearing as she was for ours.
Very unprofessional, doesn’t return calls. Hidden fees and overall very rude. I’m not sure why Sarah thinks she can treat the world badly being a paralegal. Would not recommend her at all.
I previously wrote a glowing review for Sarah Teal Paralegal based on what appeared to be a positive personal experience. However, I now feel obligated to update and correct that review, especially for the sake of others who may be relying on it to make an informed decision. After my case, I referred Sarah to a close family friend dealing with a serious tenancy issue, trusting she would provide the same level of support. Sadly, that trust was completely misplaced. After collecting full payment, Sarah did absolutely nothing—no communication, no updates, and no effort made on his case. My friend, who couldn’t afford to hire someone else, was left stranded and stressed. In the end, I had to personally step in and help him navigate the issue myself. This was not just disappointing—it was unacceptable. The lack of follow-through, accountability, and basic professionalism cannot be ignored. I now feel responsible for having recommended her, and I sincerely apologize to anyone who may have been misled by my original review. Please do not hire this paralegal under any circumstances. No one should have to pay for silence or be left in the dark during already stressful legal matters. This experience has taught me that a single decent case outcome doesn't guarantee reliability or integrity going forward.

I would just like to start off by saying I have never wrote a review before. The only reason I have is because hiring Sarah not only saved me from an illegal lockout, but also helped me stay in Canada. On May 28 my landlord told me I had to leave my apartment at the end of the month (in 3 days) for no reason at all. I am alone in Canada and was scared mostly because of Covid-19 and I had no where to go. I thought I had to leave. When my landlord changed the locks Sarah got me an emergency hearing very quickly. Sarah found out that my landlord wouldn’t give me entry because he removed me from the lease and I didn’t know. I went from being a good tenant (I pay rent on time) to being homeless. At the hearing Sarah was calm and collected and the judge even said that I had excellent representation. Sarah handled and put my case together very quickly with minimal time but her experience and passion for what she does is truly what won the case. I am a not a Canadian citizen and my family is all overseas. I have dealt with lawyers (with my immigration) but no one comes close to how Sarah handled this. She spoke to me like I was a human and explained things every step of the way. She control of the situation which helped with the stress and made me feel like I had a chance. Now still have my chance at the Canadian dream. Because before I hired Sarah I thought my dream was over.. I can honestly say if I never hired her, I would have lost my status and be sent back home. This experience was a first for me and hopefully a last, but if you ever want a paralegal to care and believe in you and their work regardless of what side your are on then you must call Sarah.
