If only I could give a negative rating, I truly would. This was my first time trying laser hair removal, and I can confidently say I didn’t see even 1% of the expected results. When I started, I was told I’d notice visible differences within 6 sittings. However, after my 6th session, they extended it to 10—clearly to make more money, yet even after 10 or 11 sittings, there were no results. They had a Canada Day promotion for $99, but a true full-body session ends up costing around $160 per sitting. Every time I went, there was a new person performing the treatment, so each session felt like my first. They never reviewed my past notes or progress. What’s worse, the sessions barely lasted 30 minutes or less for a full-body laser, which is unbelievable considering the price. On one visit, when I shared my concerns, a staff member even admitted that their machine was old and that they were planning to replace it something that explains a lot. If you’re thinking about getting your laser treatments done here and are looking for a genuine review—please don’t book even a single appointment. It’s a complete waste of money and time.
I had one of the worst experiences of my life at this spa. I initially chose them because of the glowing online reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing like what others described. I went in for laser hair removal, and the owner, Meet, personally performed the treatment. During the session, she used a marker to section off areas of my body — something I now realize may have contributed to the severe burns I suffered. You can clearly see in the photos that the burn marks are exactly where she applied the marker. I felt some heat during the procedure, but I trusted that she knew what she was doing. Looking back, I don't believe that was the case. When I contacted her afterward and asked for a refund for the damage caused and the pain I endured, her only response was, "Oh dear! I'm sorry that happened to you. I'll look into your file and get back to you." That was the last I heard from her — no follow-up, no apology, no compensation. I'm still waiting. For a business that works with skin, you'd expect a basic level of expertise, professionalism, and aftercare. Instead, I felt like I was treated as an experiment. Even before this incident, I noticed they never asked for feedback or checked in after treatments. It feels like their focus is on marketing to bring in new clients, not on taking care of the ones they already have. This was my first (and last) time being treated by the owner herself, and I can confidently say I did not have a good experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
I had the pleasure of learning makeup with Harmeet two years ago, and it was truly an incredible experience. She made everything so easy to understand and always shared the most helpful tips and techniques. I really appreciated how passionate and patient she was in every class—it made the learning process so enjoyable and inspiring. I gained so much more knowledge than I ever expected. Although I wasn’t taking any bookings at first, this year I finally started—and I’ve already done makeup on three clients! They all loved their looks, and that gave me such a boost of confidence. The staff is very slow - I got my roots touch up done which took them close to 4 hours to finish. The services are very over priced and the salon is very congested .. not recommended
Wow. What an incredible experience. Meet is amazing. I arrived from the US for a special event and needed my hair and makeup done. My friend had arranged with Meet to go to her salon. And boy, I am happy she did. From the minute I walked in I knew I was in great hands. The salon smelled amazing, it was very clean and welcoming. Then I met Meet. She asked all the right questions, what was my personal style, my skin type, ideas for hair, and make up style. And she nailed it! My hair and makeup looked incredible. I felt so pretty, empowered and ready to party. My skin can be prone to breakouts after using products, but not this time! My skin felt amazing even after washing everything off. The products in my hair didn't feel crunchy, and again felt amazing the next day. Meet, you made me feel very special, and the next time I come to Canada, we have a date! Highly recommend this business. Notes: caucasian hair with a weird wave, super long hair, combination skin, and no ideas on how to do my own make up!
I had an Amazing experience at Beauty by Meet. this was my first visit here. Very professional and makes you feel comfortable. Salon is beautiful, clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly. I got permanent straightening done. Its a fabulous job done. I washed my hair yesterday and I’m in love with my hair. I recommend this salon to all my friends. Value for money ????????
