I went in to this store in the pass and never had a bad experience but today a different story. I needed a few things like staple gun, wood glue, acrylic, stain removal for marble countertops, the long lights tubes amongs other items. Walked around one gentleman asked if I needed help I said yes and that was it. Continued looking for items, asked another gentleman for help. Don't think he was very knowledgeable but I appreciate it. Then 2 minutes later he tells me to leave my backpack at the front because I was not allowed to have it on me. I said "I have my personal items in it like my wallet, medication, house keys so I don't feel comfortable leaving it up front" He just shrug his shoulders and repeated himself. I said I needed a few things. It showed he didn't care so I said, "I guess I'll have to go to Home Depot since you don't want the sales" I take public transportation or I bike but it was starting to rain. If there would have been an effort to perhaps call someone that could help he stood there. At that moment I was so mad I walked out and in fact started writing this review while walking towards the plaza across to the Home Depot. Very, very disappointed and I have been working in retail, food industry, for over 20 years.
Shopped there yesterday. Bought 4 bottles of RV antifreeze in the flyer for $4.99. They scanned at $6.99 at the checkout however. I showed the cashier, Jaswinder, the flyer and he corrected the debit. But when this happens one item under $10. is supposed to be free. This location wouldn't honor the code. See the Ontario Scanner Price Accuracy Code. Home Depot and Walmart do and I have received quite a few items for free when this has happened. I also got a dismissive attitude from an employee who just walked away when I mentioned the SPAC. I gave two stars only because HH has great sale prices in their flyer but if HH honors the SPAC the employees at this location need to be educated on it and present a better attitude when dealing with customers. I have written them a note so we'll see if they give me the credit that I am due.
Very bad customer service, almost everyone who works there doesn’t listen and don’t know anything about their work. The only one who knows that they are doing is Harjot Singh.
These guys are the best. They know what they’re talking about. Don’t waste your time at those other places where you can’t find a “associate”. This is the place.
Wow, what an amazing store. As soon as I entered the store, a friendly guy asked me how he could assist me. I was looking for paint for old furniture, he showed me a few options and he gently explained the different tinturas and how they work on different materials. The store is so clean and well organized. They have a little bit about everything. You will find a greeting card or a tool to do a floor l, a toilet if you are doing a reno, and all in one store love it, and as the poster says, Canadian owners, so if you on the area, drive by and you will found everything and the best, the have a decent price. It's even cheaper than other stores
It's a great place but I did have one bad experience. I asked for help trying to find a certain item. I spoke to a worker and as we were talking, a lady interrupted us . The worker started to help her and ignored us. Not to be rude, I waited patiently and then he gave us his attention again. I left
We were having a heck of a time trying to get a part for our tap Nick took the time to order it for us and call when it was ready we really appreciate all of his help and definitely will be back. Thank you
