I got my first wax ever at Blaque Beauty Bar 6+ years ago and have been going to Mo ever since. When I started my own business and decided to add sugaring to my service list, I instantly knew Mo was the person I wanted to train me. Mo applies the same patience and care she applies to her treatments, to her training classes. The training provided a theory lesson with materials to study and hands on training. She provided the space to make mistakes and find my confidence in the new skill, while encouraging me to get out of my head and truly connect with the service. Mo was by my side to walk me through the roadblocks and remind me that I have the knowledge to successfully redirect and continue providing a confident service. Mo's training also set me up with all the equipment and supplies I needed to start booking clients immediately. She is a true mentor who continues to check in on me and share new knowledge. Mo makes you feel welcomed with her upbeat personality and even rewards you, who doesn’t love snacks after? But I genuinely believe the one thing that makes Blaque Beauty Bar a stand out place is Mo’s ability to make her clients feel a comfortable. Getting such an intimate service done you want to make sure you are comfortable around the person performing the service and Mo does just that. Whether it be the music playing in the background or her calming ability to talk about any and every thing. All I know is every time I leave there I feel like a new woman and I have Mo to thank for that !
