? BEWARE – Worst Experience Ever With Tip Top! I have never felt so disappointed with a company’s service, accountability, and management response until now. I hope sharing this helps others avoid the frustration I had to go through. On 10 November, I purchased a full suit set from Tip Top and paid $20 extra for alterations. I was told it would be ready on 13 November, which worked perfectly as I had an event early next morning on 14 November. But when I traveled all the way from Burlington to Brampton on the 13th, I was told the suit was never altered because they “put it on the wrong side and it got missed.” No ownership. No urgency. The only solution they offered was a refund, as if my time, travel, purpose, and stress meant nothing. Because it was already 8pm, most stores were closed, and I had no option but to find another place last-minute. I finally found a shop in Brampton who charged me $70 for urgent alteration and worked for 3 hours, leaving me waiting on the street until 11pm. I reached home around 12am, slept barely a few hours, and could not be at my best for my event the next morning. This was not just an inconvenience — it completely ruined my schedule and cost me more time and money. What made it worse was the response afterwards. ? I emailed Tip Top head office on 19 November — no reply until 25 November. When they finally called, the so-called area manager sounded like he had no authority to do anything more than offer the same $20 alteration refund, which was insulting considering everything I went through. He promised to follow up but never did. Today is 10 December — still NO RESPONSE. I even emailed again on 9 December, and I am still being ignored. This shows zero accountability, no customer care, and complete failure from store and higher management both. A brand is tested when things go wrong — and Tip Top failed at every step. ? If you value your time, money, and peace of mind — think twice before trusting Tip Top with alterations or customer service.
The staff at Tip Top saved me from a fashion disaster (almost wore a black-on-black tie combo—yikes!). Their genius Advice —made my suit cocktail-party perfect. Thanks for the confidence boost, Tip Top; you absolutely made my day!

Great store with many great options for suits. I was getting all my groomsmen fitted and had a few last minute pickups and alterations. The staff was great and made every effort to have everything done on time for my big day. Lance especially was a pleasure to work with, such a professional at what he does. Extremely grateful and thankful to have him work with us. Thanks again to the Lance, the seamstress and whole team.
Such a bad experience. I came with my family for shopping. An employee named Fazia gave such rude expressions as if why we are in the store. She didn’t say a word but still with her weird expressions or I don’t know if something was wrong her. Her presence was really negative. My husband liked few things from the store but we ended up buying nothing because of bad customer service. Other 2 employees were really nice though. Next time please give a like sweet gesture to your customers just by a small smile on your face.
My wedding is in May (2025) and I’ve been working with James since November of 2024 and he has been amazing. He’s made finding suits for my groomsmen a breeze! He definitely deserves a raise.
