Italpasta is the ONLY brand of elbow macaroni I have used for the last 22 years. As a cook for years , and also an owner of A Catering Company. It was what I was used to. The large elbows are the perfect size for macaroni and cheese and many other pasta dishes. And now unfortunately with everything going on in America I can no longer purchase it here. Please tell me where I can go to purchase a wholesale for my catering business. Thank you for a great product.
As an Italian and home chef I can clearly say that this pasta is one of the best worldwide made with the best of Canadian wheat. The rest sold and made in North America comes in second all the time.
Honestly I’ve been a very long time loyal customer of Italpasta, however after taking hard earned tax dollars I’m done. If your business is so successful and you need to expand , the banks would have loaned you the money. Instead you saddled up to a desperate Liberal government and take money from Canadians. Shame on you and you’ve lost a loyal customer. I’d give you zero stars if I could. Disgusting.
Italpasta says that its rougher texture makes it different - and you can feel the texture as soon as you take the product out of the box! The texture keeps during cooking process and this texture helps the product to retain more sauce. The product taste is good and the product cooks to al dente in about 7 minutes. My only complaint is the spaghettini is thicker than I would expect - more spaghetti width but otherwise a great product whose difference you can feel and taste!
This pasta tasted so good with any sauces as any other pastas i have tried. Excellent source of folic acid and vitamin B1.Easy to cook which only takes 10 minutes for an al dente texture. The texture is better than my usual brand, not saggy, limp and mushy. Would definitely try the other kinds.
This pasta is very good. It cooks quickly and I had dinner cooked and on the table in under twenty minutes. The perfect al dente takes about 9 minutes. The linguini shape holds onto the sauce well.
tried it for the first time today we purchased there rotini and I was impressed it cooked really fast and it tasted great some other stuff always seems a bit too starchy but not this one will definitely be buying there pasta in the future the price was also great
