DO NOT USE THESE LAWYERS. The only time they care about you is when it comes to your review... YES I googled divorce lawyers and Barry Nussbaum was the first one that came up and had an impressive 4.8 rating so I decided to give him a call. Now I know why... they call you when you leave a bad review and ask you to change it. He told me that he couldn't guarantee anything but for $3,000 he should be able to sort out my divorce since my case wasn't very complicated or so I thought. I had to send emails with various corrections several times; One particular time I was told it didn't even matter about the person's name because there was evidence attached with it that had the correct name. I thought I chose the right lawyer who would care about me and my daughter and do you what they needed to correctly and accurately so that we would have a successful outcome. $7200 later and I am no further ahead that I was in May. How can anyone trust a lawyer who can't get simple facts that they're filing with my signature on an affidavit correct? I ignored the first call from them because I already knew they were calling about my review. Why else would they call me after I told them they took all my savings and am no longer useful to them? I answered the second time and explained for 15 minutes my review which was polite and accurate. Now look how many calls I have recieved since? If only they cared when it actually mattered I wouldn't be in the worst position I have ever faced. DO NOT USE THESE LAWYERS. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU ONLY YOUR MONEY. All they care about is money NOT YOU OR YOUR FAMILY. See attached.
They padded the invoices. I was told by duty counsel at the family court to stay clear of this firm, once I mentioned who I worked with. Apparently , they are known for charging lots of money for doing very little work. Very disappointing experience.
