I went into this store today with a Tim Hortons drink in my hand. An employee shouts dramatically across the room to tell me no food or drink allowed. I acknowledged her and began to walk out of the store as I did not know this was the policy. But then I overhear her telling another customer “because these people like to leave empty cups in the store” I’m not sure if her intentions for that comment were racially charged as I am a muslim woman wearing the hijab. This employees behaviour is completely unnecessary and unacceptable she needs to be educated on how to communicate to customers with respect. It is unnecessary to shout at customers when speaking kindly is an option. FYI she is an older woman with dark red hair
Joanne was so helpful and knowledgeable on the different fabrics and helped me create the vision I had for my wedding dress! Thank you so much Joanne!!
The staff could be friendlier, and this place is definitely in need of an upgrade. It looks like I'm stepping into the 1970s or '80s. It is also quite crowded with stuff everywhere. Pricing is what you would expect, but needs to be more organized. Update it is still super crowded and the prices are high compared to the Indian stores or online. Staff were still just talking to themselves.
The staff member (Karen) behind the cutting counter was extremely rude. Instead of making the process of shopping easier she made it more stressful. Do not recommend this location.
Very unorganised. Barely had any fold over elastic, only one width. Only one type of bobbins, generic brand. Very little selection of knits, jerseys etc. No real description of fabric composition unless you unfurled the whole fabric to check at the end of the roll.
What can I say about a place audacioucious enough to suggest they are a 'land'. I think they live up to the name. They have banana print, very popular with under 11 crowd to make "cool things". Great sale right now with a lot at 50% off. Staff was very patient with the mother in law. Wow. Can they package that and sell it. We will be back and we might take the mother in ĺlaw.
