Disappointed and Concerned — A Hard No from This Business Owner As the owner of A Heart Beauty, I believe in continuously investing in my education so I can provide the best services to my clients. That’s why I enrolled in the Indian Head Massage course offered by the National Institute. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing and completely below professional standards. The course was disorganized from the beginning. The materials provided were nothing more than photocopied pages with unclear, handwritten notes — no manuals, no structured content, and no clear protocol guidance. For a certification course, this was unacceptable. I was informed to bring ID (which is standard), but was never told it would be photocopied and kept on file. This wasn’t disclosed until after I expressed concern — a major issue when it comes to privacy and consent. The schedule was changed last-minute without any direct communication to me. I showed up early based on the original times and wasn’t informed until I was already on-site. That miscommunication caused me to miss a personal event I had planned months in advance. The registration office was closed on the first day, and I was handed a multi-page contract and told to initial every page quickly, without being given time to review what I was signing. Refund and cancellation policies were never shared with me prior to the course — I only saw them once I made a formal complaint. At the end of the course, I felt pressured to provide a video review on the spot — something I declined multiple times. I had not even had time to reflect on the experience, and I was already being pushed to say something positive. That pressure felt incredibly unprofessional. After submitting concerns in writing, I was offered a “make-up” class as a courtesy — but it turned out to be the exact same course I had already taken, just reframed with no confirmed dates. When I asked questions about the course structure, I received no response. They also promised to issue me a refund on my deposit… and once again, I was met with silence. As a beauty professional and business owner, I would not recommend this program. The lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism throughout the entire process was alarming. If you value your time, money, and privacy, I strongly encourage you to consider other training institutions. This wasn’t just disappointing — it was unacceptable.

Great teachers, I had wonderful experience learning at National Institute as they experienced RMT instructors. I was all prepared to give the licensing exam just after completing the course . I highly recommend going there.

Best place to do PSW program. Instructor kiran Dhaliwal is the best best tutor of Canada. She provide me all material in online class and in person as well.She explained each and very little concept.Very helpful and supportive.I have 7 month old baby when even though I finished my all course with the support of my teacher and college.college management and staff Birva very supportive. Best place to study if you have kids. You will definitely pass PSW exam in first attempt with over 80%. .
I joined national in jan,2023 for hairstyling diploma and its going great. I am learning new things everyday. The admin staff and teacher are soo cooperative and understanding. I am enjoying my tym here… !!!
