I wanted to share my online shopping experience because I recently ordered a stroller wagon from out of province as a gift for my friend who just had a baby. The store offered a great variety to choose from, and the stroller wagon was priced $200 lower than anywhere else. I was charged the correct taxes at checkout and received my confirmation email immediately.

We wanted to write this review because we are so glad we found this store! We’re now loyal customers. This is best shop for all things babies in the GTA, having been to many of them across the region. The team that runs the shop has always been very supportive, considerate, and helpful to our family as we’ve moved through different stages. They are really knowledgeable about their products, and are always willing to give you an opinion about which of many options might work best for you. But they also give you space to browse and consider things without hovering or pressuring you. A very different experience from some of the other “trendy” baby stores, which we find have inexperienced staff (i.e., people who’ve never even had kids or used any of the products). The people at Baby’s Palace have all been working in this business a long time, and they know their stuff. The Baby’s Palace inventory is largely unmatched in quality, variety, and prices. They carry all the high-end products, and we have found the prices are the lowest in the region. They have a huge selection of strollers and plenty of space to try out the floor models. We ended up buying our Uppababy stroller here, and they carry all of the models and accessories so you can see them in person before buying. This place is really a one-stop shop for everything you need for a newborn, and you’ll keep coming back as your baby grows! They have things you didn’t even know you needed. We look forward to every trip and think you will too.

I wanted to share my online shopping experience since there seem to be mixed reviews. I placed an order out of province for a stroller wagon over the weekend. It was $200 cheaper at this store than elsewhere at the time. I was charged the correct taxes at checkout and received a confirmation email for my order right away. It was estimated the order would take 3-7 business days to arrive. I received an email to track my order once it was shipped as well. They used CanPar to ship and I appreciated all of the updates along the way. The order arrived today on the 4th business day and is exactly as ordered! I’m very happy with my experience!

I ordered online from out of province. No confirmation came through after ordering, so I called the store. The woman on the phone just laughed at me and said no order came through. I told her I was charged and funds were sent to The Baby's Palace. She just repeated that there is no order. I wanted to send them the proof that payment went and she laughed a second time and said I have to contact my bank, there is nothing she can do. Rude behaviour, and poor customer service.

TLDR - got the stink eye, not friendly, not kid friendly, lazy and wouldn't help us try out the travel cots. --- We came here from a distance specifically to make a purchase because we had been here before. We knew they had variety and display models to look at and test out. The three people in the store had the most stone faced expressions and had no desire to help us test out the travel cots we came to see. They clearly didn't understand their customer demographic because they told us that set up and take down for all their travel cots was "all the same." Unfortunately for them I came in having done lots of research on sizes, portability, ease of closure, and they just acted like everything they were selling was the same when I know that's not true. She was just being lazy, and the store wasn't busy. They also gave our toddler the stink eye for cozying up to a large stuffed animal and when he was holding a plastic toy, they didn't want him touching it or "jumping" off a 1" ledge. The staff have no insight into young parents' needs nor are they kid friendly at all. It's too bad because we had come here previously and had a better experience but we certainly won't come back and they lost out on a $500 purchase today solely because of their useless, unhelpful, lazy attitude. Go somewhere else if you can.

They have a lot of stuff, but other than strollers, it all seems older and not what I want. Sales people are rude and unpleasant. Beware - Only store credit is offered for returns.

I'm not sure what training is given to your employees, this was one of the worst customer service experience in my life. I sincerely hope you start hiring better people, training them properly, or just close the business so I can buy from Amazon.

Hi, I'm very sorry for your experience and very sorry if there was any sales associate that was rude. Please note we don't sell any used or pre-owned items. Everything we carry is new from manufacturers. Yes our store policy is exchange or store credit as we don't have the capacity of big box stores to return and resell refurbished items.
