So far my experience with TMC Restoration has been very positive, and professional…Starting with my phone call which was well received and very informative by the young lady who took my call… An appointment was scheduled and a very nice and well educated man in regards to woodworking came to access my side piece to be restored.. Dave worked with us on determining the age, the right colour and finish….and most of all a fair price to get the project started…as well as Dave was on time for his appointment…David arranged for the piece to be picked up the next day and again the men arrived on the scheduled time… The two gentleman who picked up the piece were pleasant and courteous and when I asked the one fella how long he has been working for TMC He responded 10 years and that they are a very good company to work for… That made me feel reassured that I chose the right company to restore a cabinet that I received from my late mother… I will keep you posted on how the job is proceeding…. When I posted this review I promised that I would keep you posted with the progress… About a week ago I was contacted by TMC that an error was made in the quote to restore my late mother’s antique server…I will give Tino (shop foreman) credit although he stated that an error was made in the quoted contract price, and that TMC would be returning my server and deposit (they do have a right to do this as it is stated in the contract) he never once asked for more money and I respect him for that…This week TMC owner Jesse McBride and I spoke on the phone and discussed a few important details regarding the restoration and its finish and I am happy to report that TMC Restoration is the reputable and honourable company that they claim to be… Thanks again TMC
We had my grandmother's 100 year old settee refurbished by TMC. Almost 6 1/2 months of frustration! It was very expensive and once they had it, they called to say they needed another $500!! When it was first returned to us it looked like an amateur did the work. The joints were still loose, there were several paint chips and gaps in the wood. And of course, you have to pay in full before even getting to see it. So we returned it and had to make a 3 hour return trip to Brampton to show them all the issues. It is beautiful now, but it should have been that way the first time they brought it back to us!

TMC remounted the back and seat of the countertop height kitchen chairs, five in total, for us. After getting the chairs back today, the quality of the workmanship and the service in picking up and delivering the chairs easily justifies the relatively higher price. We’re extremely satisfied with the results and won’t hesitate in recommending TMC for their furniture restoration skills.
Jason and Frasier delivered our precious restored heirlooms back to their home today. We’re so happy with their work at TMC. We toured their restoration work and warehouse in Brampton. Wow! It’s wonderful to support these Canadian artisans. The grain on the nest of refinished mahogany tables really stands out. They’re gorgeous. The bedroom sized reupholstered chair is beautiful and so comfy! Thank you TMC
Thank you TMC Restoration for making my old couch new. David, Estimator explained well how the process works. I love the variety of materials, patterns and colours. It took me a long time to select the material, but Ellen helped us to pick one, and I love it. I talked to Tino about the modifications of the couch. He explained about the couch, suggested what is the better choice even though it takes time. Jason and Fraser delivered the couch, called me ahead of arrival, both of them treated my couch very carefully. Overall I'm very satisfied with TMC Restoration.
When "furniture du jour" just doesn't measure up to your favourite pieces, consider TMC Restoration as an alternative to buying new. We love our big, puffy and ever-so-comfortable sofa and loveseat, but after decades of sitting, knitting, snacking , and napping on them, they were starting to look and feel their age. We had seen Barry in our local mall during the Christmas season a few times, and this year we finally took the plunge, with no regrets. The whole team was wonderful to deal with. David the Estimator helped us sort through a mountain of fabric until the right one just clicked. Tino the Delivery Coordinator bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule. And we can't say enough good things about the two delivery men, who didn't bat an eye at the mountain of snow that was gifted us and found creative ways to ensure the pieces returned safe and sound to their spots. We wouldn't hesitate to use TMC again.
