Just received my brand new reusable furnace filter frame from Furnace Filters.ca and I am excited to say the least! Already saved about 20 bucks and look forward to saving so much more in the future!
Caveat Emptor applies to this business. Their website is easy to navigate, you select the brand of furnace, and the size of filter, they give you a short list of options. Unfortunately, the recommendations are NOT ACCURATE. You may get the right size, you may get one a little too big, and you may get one a little too small. What's the right sizer? Well, ask an expert, but it's NOT THESE PEOPLE. They'll happily send you a filter that doesn't fit and gladly charge you the shipping fees PLUS 20% to try another one that may or may not fit Long story short, best to deal with a company that stands by its own recommendations and products
This was how I received my filters. Folded and smashed in a box smaller than the filters themselves. This has never happened before. I can't use these. Asking for a refund.
Horrible return policy - not only do they make you pay ridiculous return shipping costs ($50+) - they do not give full refunds meaning you are out money no matter what.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS ARE INCORRECT AND THEY DON'T CARE, NO REFUNDS, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I purchased some large furnace filters from this place. They sent me twice as many as I ordered, but half the size. When I reached out, they told me to just tape them together (K, if I wanted to build furnace filters I would have done though, but that's why I bought them). Anyway, so I do that, and the filters are clearly way too small. There is over an inch gap. See a 30" wide filter is actually only 29.75" wide (for good filters) or 29.5" wide (for low quality filters like this company). And a 15" filter is only 14.5" wide (again, for the companies that want to be cheap, like this one). So what happens when you tape those together? Can anyone do the math? Because these guys can't. The answer is that you have a 1” gap all around your filter. Which entirely defeats the purpose of having a filter. And to add to that, the filters **aren't even** 1/2" short, they're more like 3/4” short. Because that's how little these guys care. Do they care that their website literally states the actual size is 29.5"? No. Will they refund you your money? No. Will they be able to do math as well as an 8 year old? No. Thankfully, my credit card company refunded me so I dont' have to deal with these idiots anymore. EDIT: they did not issue me a refund. My credit card company did a chargeback. More lies. And I don’t need filters THAT DONT FIT MY FURNACE. 4 months later and these idiots can’t figure out the one thing they’re supposed to know. Edit2: 8 months after starting this ordeal buying FURNACE FILTERS, these guys just won’t quit. They continue to argue with my bank and try to scam me. Do not give these guys a cent.
I love you guys man thanks so much. Was outraged when I bought a filter from HD and it didn’t fit. I couldn’t find that specific filter size anywhere, came across ur website and you were locally available and you had the EXACT same one, that too at the best price available. Kudos!
I was about to order from you - did a review of your website based on Google location and found no respond from the negative reviews that you had. Hesitated and order from elsewhere instead. Just thought you need to know why you lost a potential sales! Thanks!
